Don't know if anybody else is a contributer on that site, but gawd damn.  Those egotistical, phallically challenged moderators of those forums desperately need to get off the fuck out of their momma's basement.
 
The mods are unfreakin' real, legitimate posts and replies are moved or deleted immediately if they don't fall exactly into the catagory they want them in.  It totally sucks, and it's not an enjoyable experience posting there.  Fuck them, honestly.  If it wasn't for the huge tv poker popularity contests of the last 5 years or so, they wouldn't even exist. Now they act they're the leading authority and purveyors of anything poker.  WTF ever. 
 
My advice is, don't bother with them, ever.

I have posted there from time to time with varying results.  Some of the responses are very arrogant while others have been helpful.  Most of the time it is not from the mods but from other members that think they are the poker gurus.  You have to take it for what it's worth (like any other forum) and use what you can to improve your game.

2+2 forums still suck fyi.  My first 10 posts were either deleted, moved or consolidated. Not exaggerating.  And, they were not offensive, threating or of bad taste.  That site is perfect example of some keyboard jockey nerds that seriously need to get a life.

Being a degenerate Iam 80% sports bettor 20% poker player with varying success in both I am up more on poker this year than the sports due to a couple of  big tourney wins.
 
Back to poker players and the forums they are mostly filled with know it all kids that have probably never worked a day in their lives and are living on daddys dime.  When I play live there are at least 3 hot shot kids at the table that shoot their mouths off all the time.  Talking percentage of this and that and why would you call.
 
Poker players went from being dishonest cheaters to bratty little kids that think they know it all.  Bring back the scum.

Today was the last straw. Even though I've bitched about their message boards, I thought I'd give it one more chance.  I did, I regret it.  Between the unbelievably anal moderators and being treating like a total child by the posters because I'm not a twenty-something poker nerd, I've had it. Of course, it's moderated some heavily, there is no way to tell anyone to fuck off.  Although, I do have a contact email for the site and I'm drafting an email right now.  Fuckers.

I agree completely.  Today's poker is dominated by college know-it-all punks who think they've found the secret to getting rich quickly.  And these same people will be just broke in 10 years just as they are now. 

 

I would much rather play in a back room with cigar smoking, beer drinking, middle-aged and older men.
