I know for a fact it is Tex and Cincy, do the rpi math dude.  I know Morrisons plays weeks before he posts them.

hey lipps - i'll make a bet right now -  one of those three games - (all of which you will be +1.5) they will win outright vs florida or you will lose the game by 1 run and win the bet by .5

JMs series picks are HOT sometimes they dont even make reasonable sense 
but he keeps winning
but nobody is perfect and just 1 series loss could cost you about 20 of your wins (thats following JMs method of wagering)
so if you have the balls and deep enough pockets then yeah
but most of us do not want to lose 20 of our hard earned wins
so its probably a great idea to come up with a PROPER MONEY MANAGEMENT PLAN TO PROTECT YOUR BANK
ie........LABOURCHERE seems to be a very good start in the right direction but only you know your finances so its probably an even better idea to read a few different $ mgnt. systems and apply what best fits your needs...................

Well I take you will be wagering it considering it's a play.  But then again, won't the rpi stuff kick in on this one ?

After taking KongKillers advice and reading the entire thread I have come to a conclusion.  If you use Labouchere with JM why couldnt you make a living doing this?  This all seems to good to be true, but I know it is true.  Do any of you do this as a profession?

Yeah, many people make a living out of this. If done properly, you could win thousands/month, enough to make you quit your day job. :)

Sports investing is just another form of income for me, and it's all about discipline.  Many knuckle heads make there few units by using systems a week, then blow it all on a parlay with Sunday night baseball.  If this is all you do, you will suceed.  The numbers don't lie.

The NBA East-Coast West Coast system is my favorite by far.  I have been playing this for years now, and over the last two Labochering it. 

The New MLB system with the RPI is very strong too.  This is becoming my new favorite.

This WNBA system is pretty damn good too.  I have backtested the last 3 years already and so far morrison is right about it.  It doesnt lose and has a very high "A" game percentage.

I am still working on this Hockey system. For 2008-09 I have 163-3.  And for 2007-2008 I have 162-8.  With a sick amount of "A" games, using Labouchere on this will be very effective.

Lipps posted the upcoming sweep chase plays.  Just apply the RPI filter and play the game and see if it works.  And I doubt Washington will be a play....LOL

I will probably pass on that series - although throughout the season mostly all 'unofficial' bets won either on the [a or b] bets except washington and kc - i didnt bet any of them except cincinnati - probably could have make some more money but if you were chasing you would be down units if you bet all of the unofficial bets.  maybe bet smaller than normal or because stranger things tend to happen in MLB and sports in general bet washington -1.5 and you'll probably win (after all its still gambling here, isn't it?) florida may have the bottom end of their rotation in the game during that series

Chicano, those are just series.  Using Labouchere and starting out with a small unit size will prove to be very profitable.  When I do the 06-07 stats I will let you know.

I see that you said alot of them win on the A
I really would like to know how many times they had to goto C

My math is crappy, so hoping for some help here. What if you only bet the A and B games. You would avoid all C losses. Apply this to any chase system.
You would miss any devastating C losses, but you would also miss out on the recuperating C wins.
So which is better? Leave the labouch method out as part of the strategy to keed this simple.
 
Using last years hockey as example, you'd win 149 bets (104 A and 45 B). You would have missed 14 C wins, but avoided 3 C losses.
