TARIFFS..............

You mean you are paying 20% more right? - Tariffs are consumer taxes wtf :) everytime "you" as an American consumer buy something from China you have to pay 30% taxes - every time China wants to buy they pay 10% - unless you within the next 3 months has a plan to start manifactor everything you buy from China in US - it sounds like you guys got the shorter end of that stick mate - China is a producing nation, you are a consuming nation - so you have just thanked Trump for increasing the price of almost everything you buy with 30% (since he took office - that is literally the only change he has made)

The US will lower tariffs from 145% to 30%, while China's retaliatory tariffs on US goods will drop to 10% from 125%.

Looks like 20% to me..

You only want high tariffs on products you as a country can produce yourself - if the answer is “no” to this question - “can you produce the product you buy from China cheaper than 30% on top of the price you pay them” 

Then it is just a flat out consumer tax of 30% on top - with it achieving nothing apart from that (and even if you can you still punish your citizens unless they also get a higher check because of it)

Trumps biggest mistake here is he wants to turn you in to a producing nation because it goes well for China being one - but they will completely destroy you in that department - they are better than you in every aspect that makes a good producing country 

He should instead use time improving what have worked for you for decades - buy cheap junk - turn it into expensive junk - and sell it to your rich friends (the ones of you that suffer over there - is because everyone of you rip each of - not because your international business model doesn’t work)

That is great because he hasn't achieved anything - he only made his mistake less severe - you are still worse off than you were 3 months ago regarding tariffs - he only does this to make people like you happy, so glad that at least is the case
