I think moderation is the problem secondary to the internet itself.  I dont think any particular user is the problem.

Neither what Midnight1 said to me or my response warrants anything more than what happened.

I responded to his sarcasm with a your mom joke and he responded by telling me to go fuck myself.  In and of itself all perfectly fine.

One ends up in the box.  Not fair but perfectly fine.

Stu jumps in and takes it to the Nth degree, which is fine by me really (as evidenced by my response or lack thereof) but most definitely violates even the most lax framework of decorum but seems to be acceptable in the box (which i didn't know).

Now, generally stu doesn't act or talk this way and he cites defending Midnight1 as the reason to escalate to the Nth degree, enter posse behavior which again, perfectly fine.

I am just merely stating using that as the barometer, I do not believe my conduct rises to anything beyond having certain people's back in certain circumstances.....like say unjust moderation.

I also think telling people they're part of the problem based on their beliefs or lack of concurrence could possibly be part of the problem
