I've defended Slim numerous times. You don't have to tell me he is treated unfairly. Or that the moderation is unfair. I've spoke out about this ad nauseam. I'm over it. I rarely post in politics. I'll drop comments here and there in the other forums. My engagenent is way down. It's pointless.

I used to post ao much. Get into long and drawn out, multi-page arguments with Scal and others. All that comes from it is a ridiculous post count. Nothing has changed. Some names drop off. Others show up. The same dumb ass arguments perpetuate.

We just got back from planting flags for our fallen veterans in two of our local cemeteries & I cracked open a beer, logged on to TwinSpires & turned on the patio TV to watch the Orioles/BOSOX game. I then came here.

This thread began with a whiny bitchy why me premise & has deteriorated into as, kc would say "a real cesspool" of classless comments that of course would never be said to me in person.

You see, I get along with most in here because we respect each other. I argue/disagree with MUGG, UNIMAN, STU, sundance, BigGame90 & a few others that don't immediately come to mind. More importantly, even with all intense conversations, we still are willing to discuss whatever pops up because we respect each other. I know you can't understand this because your crew consists of a guy that just got banned & another guy who lost a bet to never return to COVERS but yet he's still here & will soon be banned because he's been warned Boo Koo times. I doubt you speak Vietnamese, so Boo Koo means many, many times. But I'm sure you still don't get it.

My relationship with UNIMAN has a little Michigan connection & we are a check/balance on each other. And when one of is found to be incorrect on a matter, we accept it & move along. I used a term referring to Humpty Trumpy & it really offended him. I continued to use the term until I realized he REALLY didn't like the term. So since I respect him, I made him a promise never to use it again & I haven't.  With MUGG, we have a military connection with his Dad having served & my service. Neither of us ever get nasty with each other because we have mutual respect & are mature enough to move along. At first, Stu & I argued a lot with borderline respect for each other. A conversation about dicks, yes dicks & not what you've spewed in here. I mentioned to Stu that he talked about dicks A LOT & asked what was up with that? He agreed then as he does now that he does talk about dicks plenty. To me, I think we laughed about it & began sharing stories about our families, our wives (always respectfully), our careers, travels, life experiences & that is how we became friends . Around the holidays Stu mentioned he needed to stop by See's Candies I think for his mother in law & these are great chocolates & my wife loves chocolate & I had some shipped in for Christmas. See, it's little shit like this that bonds people. sundance & I couldn't be farther away on the political spectrum but we both have a love of our veterans. We collaborated on purchasing Christmas gifts for the Veterans Home in Grand Rapids, MI. 

So you see, it's about respect & boundaries. You should have learned that by now regarding disgusting comments about Moms, Dads, wives, kids & families is out of bounds. Grown ass men know that & abide by these unwritten rules we have in life that pretty much are followed here in COVERS. But there's always someone like you that goes there & who then plays the victim when called out on it.

I never interacted with Spockato, I don't interact with the liar & wager welcher Slim  & now you. You are dead to me. You don't exist in my world. But one last thing...

Hasn’t he multiple times said he isn’t friends with everybody by now ? Me and Stu aren’t friends for instance - I have nothing against him (he often say his opinions in a good way I think so nothing against the guy) - but he wouldn’t defend me if anyone talked bad about my mom - and neither should he I don’t fucking care - and I wouldn’t defend him anymore than I would the next guy ! But he has said he would both defend you and this Midnight dude - so what is the big deal? - you are on that list - hurray
