After seeing a performance like tonight's game against the worst team in the NBA, I am in awe. I will agree that Kobe Bryant is the next Jordan.... Reggie Jordan that is.
Nothing like having a coach blatantly tell people he is waving the white flag before the season is even over. I hope everyone has had a chance to hop on the FADE train and make a little cash. It's still not too late to join before it heads to it's next stop but the seats are getting full.
Make that 1-5 against the spread since the shooting spree.

That's another difference between great players like LeBron James and Dwyane Wade compared to only scorers like Bryant. Even with Odom, those plays can all impact the game in other ways. Without Bryant scoring, he's about as useful as a fur coat in the summertime.

No, this is a Los Angeles Lakers' FADE thread. The appreciation equally goes to Phil Jackson and Kobe Bryant for Phil giving up on the season and Bryant for actually believing he needs to take shot after shot for the team to win. Which isnt surprising being that his basketball IQ is about the same as a player on the freshman high school team. Once the shots start being equally distributed, this thread will have no purpose because the team will start winning handidly.
As you see, this thread (just like the Same story, Different Year thread) pointed out exactly what factors go into the Lakers having a tough time putting away opponents and why they would'nt cover. I find it funny guys like to try to argue against the truth yet it continues to happen time after time.
I'm done posting in this thread until Friday. The team plays Houston. Looks to be another good one.
