    - - - who has flopped.

There's never been a really good one - Moon was overrated, so is McNabb (about the only thing I agree with the porkifed chief Dittohead in Charge on).

This ain't some primitive "racism;" a word pretty much stripped of its meaning since taking top place in the lexican of political correctness.

There hasn't been a really good WHITE running back since John Riggins. What was that, 25 years ago?  And may never be one again,.

It's all hereditary.  We are what our ancestors did for many millenia.  Blacks have "quick twitch muscles," as science sees it.  Whites don't. Or at least not as many.

Blacks for a million years, in Africa, needed those quick twitchers to escape raging elephants, charging lions, hungry gators.

The whites who emigrated to Europe and the glaciers didn't need those muscles, there were not as many preditors close by.  What the whites (who were originally black Africans with wanderlust) did need in that hostile environment, where food was scarce and shelter unpleasant and hostile, was a brain to outsmart the elements and the weather.

He had to be able to see things three-dimensionally,  To make quick decisions.  He lost his quick twitch muscles along with his black skin and flared nostrils (the weather was so cold his nasal passages closed to filter the air).

But he gained a quick-twitch brain.  Which his long-ago relatives in the African jungle didn't. Because he didn't need it - fruit, wild veggies and plentiful game were nearby.

There's no "racism" [boo!!] here, just an acknowledgment of evolutionary adaptation.

And the immense stupidity of affirmative action in sports.

(Other "black" positions in NFL football: cornerback - no white ones now, I don't think. Jason whatshisname with the Giants has been out of football for a few years, the guy married to a movie star.  Safety is sometimes held down by a paleface

"White" positions are QB of course, and long snapper.  Kickers and punters too, tho years ago I beleive the Dolphins had a good black kicker or punter, forgot his name

The position of center is usually a "white" one, tho the Steelers for years once had a black C, a pereniall all-pro. Most of the good ones, tho, are white. The center is often the playcaller of the Oline

We are what our ancesters did, for millenia after millenia)

Will there ever be a really good, top-notch black QB?

Probably. But he'll have as much of a white genetic make-up as does Obama, or Tony Dungy.  He won't look like McNabb, Vick or JaMarcus Russell.

Luck, I think you're an OK guy around here, but do you even think for a second how racist you sound?

    ala Jimmy the Greek.

    Warren Moon was overrated?

    Are you fucking smoking crack?

I barely missed a game on TV that he played on being that Houston Oilers were AFC Central at the time and well, whatever......

You do realize he lit up Canada for 5 years before he even took a snap in the NFL...... Dude , he is arguably in the top ten all time QBs

Warren Moon was like a way more literate Jim pollack Kelly.

    Was he also overrated?

Sure, Kelly was Fran Tarkenten's twin.....Vikings 4 Superbowl losses, same as the Bills, and the Broncos tried really hard to join that club.....

You do realize alot of potentially good black quarterbacks are usually switched to other skill positions because they just happen to have more athleticism than the people they're replacing, right?

You're a good guy luck, but this one got away from you... fast.

Let me ask you a queston: are you a university grad? Or at least a few years at just about any college in this land?

I ask so because the only ones who have been so disarmed and who use the "racist" label like a broadsword are those who have been heavily propagandized in the Institutions of Higher Propaganda.

You won't in those academies be assigned highly literate and researched works like The Bell Curve, written by highly qualified people.

Generally speaking, working-class whites who never stepped foot on a propaganda campus have a much saner view of racial realities in the US than do the "educated."

BTW, I've lived in mixed neighborhoods, with no problems. (Tho neither I nor any juice laudes will stroll a ghettor at midnight on the Saturday before the welfare checks arrive --- pc is pc, all well and good, but hey, we only got one life!!)

I've lived in Mexico, and speak, read and write the language. Several very good friends  are Mexican. IE, in Mexico, not chicanos.

Most very liberal whites (on the race issue) live in pure white suburbia, where they preach PC to the unwashed whites.. Or they dwell  in yuppified and gentrified cities, with extra heavy duty locks and alarms on doors and windows.

Yep, racism is just below the surface, even of the educated .

(Jimmy the Greek was sort of correct, tho the athleticim of the black was hardly bred into him by a few hundred years of slavery  It takes many thousands of years for environmental adaption to become a part of the g code. The Greek was sacrificed on the altar of PC -- where is freedom of speech in the Land of the Free) .  .

And look at Pat White. 34-8 as a starter at WVU, and he's being used as a gimmick by the Dolphins, and probably a year or two away from being a return specialist.

It's fair to say there haven't been that many great black QB's but, then again, guys like Eli Manning and Tom Brady have probably ONLY ever played QB since Pop Warner. I'm sure if LT or Chad Johnson had been groomed since Day 1 to be a QB, they would have made great QB's.

hugh, I'll meet you in Newark next Saturday  for a nice quiet midnight stroll up Springfield Avenue.

I will be packing heat, but will only use it to defend myself.

And btw, is the lack of highly paid white NFL running backs due to a bias against them?  If not, WHAT IS THE REASON THERE ARE NONE???

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bell_Curve

The wiki article on The Bell Curve. Wiki is PC, nothing and no one gets particularly prominent in the US without being so.  But it will give you univ grads another perspective, which you did not get while being "educated."

(Still waiting for a fearless PC er to tell me if the lack of white RBs in the NFL is just happenstance, a deliberate anti-white plot, or --------- uh, somethng else  . . . . (Hint, hint: twitch, twitch)

Pat White was great, but small. The only reason that he isn't an NFL QB.

Luck, I wasn't trying to be confrontational.....

Luck, there are a zillion white QBs that can barely read or write.

    Think about it.

It was great, in my mind, when MLB finally pulled their heads out of their asses and started letting black guys pitch.

Same ignorant shit you're talking about.

Me neither, dennis. I tend to argue forcefully (you have to when you hold positions such as I do on some topics) but I can't be pigeonholed. I supported Obama, but am grievously disappointed with his wimpyness, his catering and bowing the the old white Estab, like that giant welfare agency known as the Pentagon . . . We agree on drugs, and probably many other issue. I never attack personally, evn tho it may seem like I did with the reference to university graduates. This is my honest observation, that virtually all schools insist on PC, tho the science for it is sorely lacking.

Meanwhile, for those who doubt my statement about muscular differences in the races, and who blacks tend to run fast, here is a very intersting article from the net - I think reading the piece you will agree that the writer knows of the subject in which he speaks, and is not a secret member of the Klan.

Hiding facts in no way to solve racial problems. It just exposes the hypocrisy, and makes it worse in the long run

Well, back the The Games for me for awhile

Maybe Jerseyite koaj, the mod here, will join us.

Couple of good places in Harlem too - and you prob won't need to pack heat to eat safely.  I'll credit Bloomberg for keeping a lid on the city, crime is down. Ditto for that neocon who preceeded him - would have been crap as prez, but a good job revitalizing a great city

Reggie Roby, I think, kicker for the Dolphins.  I don't know what is wrong with Jemarcus, he was a good college QB, could really hit some passes.  His problems, I believe, are due to his holdout and his inability to learn the system.  Possibly because Oakland has no really good receivers, one dropped one right in his hands today.  Or, maybe, that $62 million he is carrying in his hip pocket may be bothering him.  I wish him well, he made me money when he was with LSU, now making me money, most of the time, to bet against him with the Raiders.

African American QB that reminds us of Montana?

White runnung back that reminds us of Barry Sanders?

Luck, completely agree. Dialogue difference of opinion certainly doesn't have to be hateful an stupid like most around here.

My opinion about Jemarcus, is that regardless of skin color which has nopthing to do with anything......

.....he's just a big fat lazy "I got my money" piece of shit with no work ethic and uncoachable douchebags in the NFL.

    What a fucking disappointment.

Now, the Oakland staff is deplorable at best, has no stability due to that sociopath Al Davis, and the Raiders are the #1 team at not realizing that guys drafted still have to be taught, coached, and disciplined. That whole franchise is a nightmare quagmire of a place that no player in his right mind would want to be a part of.
