I've been to many cities across the U.S.....my fav's by far are Austin, Tx. and Destin Fl. Although not recession proof, they seem to be doing better than most. Beautiful cities!

depending on how 'desperate ' you are for a job.. ie ..money in the bank now .. why not visit your 4 choices for like 3-4 days .. then you can 'see/feel' the cities.. go from thurs-sun or fri-mon .. get a flavor of what nightlife is like , and the work week..
btw- pitbullowner actually gave you good advice .. tony/joe's in georgetown is awesome ..

do something Hernia, even if it ends being the wrong thing. Take a shot and go with your instinct. You'll suprise the hell out of yourself in different location and a brand new mindset. People do it every hour.
Don't over think it to analsys paralysis. You read like a good guy man, you'll be fine wherever ya go and you're in a rut. Toss the shovel and get out of Nevada. That place is washed up.
Renting a furnished place for a month or two is good approach in a new city. Take the pulse of the city with an open mind and see how it settles in.
The job will happen.
You decide on Seattle you let me know. I'll get you in the good spot.

Hey man, I'm biased because I love snowboarding and skiing and the mountains, but you really can't beat Colorado. I just moved to Denver from the midwest, been wanting to do it for awhile. Don't have a job yet, cuz i'm kinda lucky and can live with my sister for a little bit while I find one. But anyway, the weather is really a lot more mild than people think (300+ days of sun a year, 50's in Jan with the sunlight not unusual) and you can drive to world-class ski resorts. Check it out!

Whats wrong with Nevada holmes?? South Lake Tahoe is one of the prettiest spots in the world!! Its not like your living in Vegas? You never told us ur job profession so that is irrevelent to what city is the best....it's rough all over, but if you got $$ in the bank, go visit San Diego....find a nice juicy MILF and fuck her brains out.....u can't beat the weather....sunny, blue skies, no smog, but the I5 can get a lil hairy.....GL what ever you decide!
