I am moving, starting a new life, narrowed down to 4 choices, need your opinions.

I have lived in Nevada almost 20 yrs.  I am done.  I will kill myself if I live here any longer.  13 percent unemployment rate.  Very few high paying jobs.  I got a great degree but it's worthless here.  I have narrowed down to four choices.  I am single, highly mobile, and horny as fuck.  I want a good paying job, don't want to get shot, and want to meet my dream wife.

 

1  San Diego great weather, job market weak

 

2  Seattle  loved the city, but it rains alot

 

3  Washington D.C. this is where most of the jobs in my field are

 

4  New York City (or surrounding areas) want to experience the culture and etc.

 

I feel like I have missed out alot in life by not being in a big city.  Tell me what you think.  I need help.  I have to move before winter.

I heard Chernobyl is nice this time of year,,,,its located in Ukraine---give it a shot.

If you move to D.c you will be living in Va or Ma cuz DC is a hell hole to live in unless you're a rich politician.The commut to DC will give you grey hairs my friend.I live 1 1/2 hours out side of NYC in Ct and I can tell you it's expensive as hell! A grand a month will get you a decent but modest appartment anything lower and you will be fighting cockroaches for the bed.SD looks nice, never been there.

Move to Texas.

Yankee stadium is fucking right! Every game feels like a playoff game.For $120 you can sit in the 2nd best seats on the first level.They have seat waiters and feel like an easy chair.If your into baseball it's a must see.Get good seats on www.stubhub.com .

You couldn't pay me to live in D.C., unless you could somehow live in the District itself - and then you still have to wade through an ocean of douchbags every day.

 

N.Y. isn't my thing, but some people wouldn't live anywhere else. 

 

I'm not sure why the entire world doesn't live in San Diego. 

 

I sure liked my three days in Seattle, though there are lots of crazy people, rain and coffee to put up with.

STEP 3)   Sneak back across the border

STEP 4 )  get all the free stuff you want from Obama administration

By far Washington, DC.  And yes I'm a homer. I've been in DC via North Carolina for 20yrs and love the city today just as much as I did upon arriving in 1989.  Job market has maintain (although competitive) housing (has increase) but aprtments are pentyfull & affortable, everything is accessible via cab or metro, very cultural, the city is clean, plenty of women making good money and the night life is in abundance. Their was an article on the front page of yahoo thursday that read Washington, DC took over NYC for people between the ages of 25 - 35 making $100,000 or more.  Its a grind though.  You have to beat the pavement from the jumpstart to get your career flowing. Once that has been acheived you can venture out and find you one of these nice educated RICH honies and you're set dude.Crime rate is like any other major city.  It has its spots. Where people get the idea that DC is expensive and full of politicians are beyond me. You never see politcians and the money you make is suitable for living.  You're gonna hear things like this from people who have never lived or worked in DC.  To much television can give any city or place a bad name. Google Washington, DC forum to get many of your questions answered.  Trust me dude, DC is a fun place to live.
