I like your thinking in the Jets and Browns game. I don't know how the Jets are going to score.

Interesting tidbit for the week. Matthew Stafford has the highest epa per play vs pressure this year.

Don Martindale has blitzed on 227 of 512 pass attempts against. 

There's nothing sharp about betting the Giants imo.

Let's see what angles we can come up with.

1. West coast team on a noon start, on the east coast. Ever hear this one before?

2. Giants are at home, getting points. Looks like too many.

3. The Rams are "due" for a bad game.

4. The public will be on the Rams. Is this a thing anymore? Coincidentally, the public is having the best year ever.

5. The Rams don't care about this game, SF is on deck.

It feels like McVay is the exact type of coach where non of the nonsense above applies.

Flako is the new darling QB because he was watching TV with his Mom before the Browns signed him to play. In 4 games he's thrown 10 TD passes (sweet) and 7 interceptions (sour). The Jets despite their great defense are -8 in TO differential. Of course turnovers can be net positive or negative for the total whether or not they kill scoring drives or invite them. I expect both teams to sit back conservatively and play between the 20's. 

I saw Shrimp at the grocery store today. Hefty older guy with a Yanda jersey dragging his wife around asking where the meats are.

Gonna be very interesting in grits & gravy land if the Saints hand Florida man a defeat. I believe they can and if i can get me a 3 i'm gonna consider it.No hope for a 3'

The top 5 Qbs in overall EPA when playing a top 12 defense this year are :

 

1)Josh Allen (Overall EPA includes rushing)

2)Pat Mahomes (surprising considering the the lack of scoring the team has had)

3) Joe Burrow (on IR)

4) Jared Goff (surprising because he's often criticized for not making the clutch throws)

5) Tua Tag 

 

The QB with the highest percentage of completed "big boy" throws (those with 20+ air yards) and "turnover worthy" throws is the same guy. an_popcorn

 Mahomes being 2nd shouldn't be a surprise though, the lack of scoring is on his offense who can't catch a ball, KC leads the league with 39 dropped passes.

Sharps have to be on the Saints, I really don't care but wtf.

I don't feel strongly about any teams this week.

Bears injury news, TE Cole Kmet and C Lucas Patrick missed practice with knee injuries.

Yea, they should. But I'm still waiting for that "day off" game from the D. They're treading in that highly unsustainable period. 

Fwiw, CB Jaylon Johnson in an interview said, "We haven't posted a shut out yet, that's the goal this Sunday".

Ofcourse take it with a grain of salt. He's looking for a contract next year. He'll play hard, question is do his guys tag along? Johnson is the top rated CB in the league according to PFF.
