- Requiem for a Dream ( tough to watch, makes Trainspotting look like Barney. Trainspotting was a very funny movie in parts, but Requiem is just painful to watch. Good movie though )

All great picks, though ACO is a little too out there for me in certain scenes, and you might actually be taking it easy on Requiem. . .   most words can't describe the uneasiness you feel watching that movie.

I do not want to over sell but man I really liked Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.  It was a random rental one night but I was very pleasantly surprised.  It is a little different and requires some attention but one of those movies that kept you guessing all the way through.  That and Usual Suspects are 2 of my favorites.

sorry buddy but...  this was perhaps one of the single worst movies that I have watched ever.  Atleast relative to some of the advice that I heard about it.  The writing, plot line, and acting was vomit worthy.  I really mean that. 
 
Of course that is just my opinion.

-Lock Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels
-Me, Myself and Irene
-Traffic
-Almost Famous
-Mallrats
-Slap Shot
-Young Guns
-Ronin
-Suicide Kings
-True Romance (this is my biggest suggestion....it's not a romance film by any means, and has one of the best ensemble casts ever. It wasn't directed by Tarantino....but was written by him. If you trust me hoops...and I know you do....check it out.
-A life Less Ordinary
-Office Space
-The Ghost and the Darkness
-Heist
-Tombstone
-U-turn
-Into the Wild
-The Big Lebowski
-The Beach
-Permanent Midnight (worth watching once....but DO NOT BUY)

Nice call on "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang".....same exact thing for me. I just randomly grabbed it with no expectations and thought it was good. I had the same experience with "Lucky Number Slevin"....which is even better imo.
