WNBL and NBL Week #5

So the Kings finally got a win after their embarrasment in the media and the Oz basketball community. Do i believe they turned a corner with that OT win vs the Hawks? NO... Their roster still is incompetent and they don't have the X factor so to speak. They are still missing Lisch for 5-6 weeks and I see it getting harder for them and especially this weekend with a trip to Perth and then back to Sydney 2 days later for a rematch with the Hawks. Melbourne are the latest team to get blasted by their coach and seeing that they were laying -2.5 in Brisbane and now only laying -5.5 at home to the Taipans that struggle on the road, this will be my first play for the weekend. I expect a massive game from Goulding, Ware and Prather. Vickerman lit a fire under their @rses during the week to get them going. They formed the Aussie version of a super team and they aren't showing that at all and now they are the embarrassment this week of the Australian basketball community because these are the guys that were meant to be absolutely destroying teams and that grew even higher when they pushed OKC to a win point loss at the start of October. I just have to take them on pure merit for a Thursday night showdown in Melbourne.

Sure is mate and its looking like a big card of a weekend as well. Some massive matches across both leagues..

As far as I know, Williams was initially out for 3 weeks. Will keep you updated if I find out anymore info about her. 

that line is super short buddy.. I am seeing Lynx +1.5 right now. Seems very strange considering the Rangers last weekend were as high as -5.5 in Perth. The non-defense of the Lynx worries me a lot and the interior play of Batkovic and George could really punish this Lynx team with no inside presence. The Lynx need to hit their outside shots to have any chance in this game. 

Rangers do play at a quick pace, I feel as though Adelaide would love to join them in a run and gun kind of games. The Rangers love getting points from fast break, its just what they do with their roster and with the Lightning playing so well, I expect a good scoring game tonight. Adelaide have now played to 3 straight unders and I expect that to change tonight..

Keeping my plays limited tonight.. We have 5 games across both leagues and very easy to bet too much. Most likely will keep it at these 2 plays for tonight unless I get clarification on Williams playing for the Lynx.  

Where yo seeing that buddy? I just saw 149.5 and 150.5 at 4 different books. Nonetheless, I think we see a high scoring game..

Agree mate. Big 3Q coming up. Cairns are one of those teams that love to stick around but hopefully Melbourne blow them out 3Q.
