Up and down round last week, looking to rebound in the WNBL.

NBL - Illawarra Hawks - pk

Big game tonight for the Hawks as they try and and get one back against the inconsistent Wildcats. Here we have a double revenge angle with the Hawks copping a 30 point flogging last time they met in Perth. The Hawks are a great shooting team especially from beyond the arc. If AG Ogilvie can at least draw even with the Perth big men the Hawks are a very good chance to win this one. Martin is a big out for the Cats and it could be the difference in this game.

For the record I'm a big Wildcats fan and I hate having to tip against them but I honestly think the Hawks will win here.

GL Freddie.. I think from now on buddy we hammer these 1st half overs. They are flying over and books haven't adjusted yet. This game, the first half total was 84. It's about to hit 107 points LOL.

Yeah unreal, I'm a little careful tipping overs with the cats though. They've traditionally played a tight defensive game. Tonight being the exception lol.

Nice write up as well mate. Respect those that posts plays on covers and have the time to write why they are making a play. Like double revenge angles. You bet NBA?

Yeah I do but not with the same success. This season has been tough so far. I've done best betting dogs.

By the way see Lisch just break Beals ankles? Damn....

Haha sure did but great response from Beal after that. Don't know how the Hawks have allowed that 13 point lead slip..

The Cats will be in every game because they are the best rebounding team in the league. They're a real chance here, Lisch carrying the Hawks on his back.

Sydney/Adelaide - over 179.5

Can't resist this play. The league has enjoyed an abundance of high scoring, high octane basketball since the season started. It's almost unheard of to see 40 minute games going close to 200 points total, but that's what we have seen and it looks likely to continue with this match. Both teams have contributed to the high volume of overs so far this season, especially Sydney. What stands out for me in this one is the ability of Sydney to actually improve offensively. Their main man Al Harrington has been scoring a lot (38 points last round) but his percentage has been poor, 11/36 from the field. A little improvement from him will almost guarantee another big scoreline for the Kings. That along with the fact that the Kings suck defensively giving up an average of 90.8 in their last 5 home games. With this total the over is definitely the play here. Good luck.

GL Freddie.. Crazy to play unders in this league until the books really start jacking up the totals. Smart play IMHO.

Another over, these books are taking a hammering so far this season. Like u said Aussie, the numbers will be right up there very soon. Expect 190+ totals

NBL - NZ Breakers -5

I hate to go against my Wildcats twice in a row but this looks like a real danger game for them in New Zealand. A few factors against them here, including travel and injuries. I also like the looks of the Breakers since Corey Webster returned from NBA tryouts. They have arguably been the form team of the comp outside of Melbourne and should of beaten the Tigers away last round. The Breakers are well rested and will be keen to put in a big performance against one of their main title rivals.

Lets have a big weekend Freddie (hopefully). Plenty of WNBL and NBL. Surprised that the books are giving us totals in the 160's still for tonights game but im a little hesitant to take overs because as always, the books know more than us right?

With WNBL, liking Flames, Boomers and not sure about the game in your city. Lynx/Rangers. Tough one that. But will get home from work and check out my little stats spreadsheet and see what I can gather up. But Flames -16 seems high but I think they can get the job done against Leilani Mitchell and the Lightning. Will check in later.

Thanks mate. I know the 16 points is a bit high but the Flames are travelling extremely well at the moment and Adelaide aren't. Will look a bit closer
