NBL: Cairns pk

Call me crazy but I think this pick makes a lot of sense. Yes Cairns just got a lickin at Illawarra but they now have a chance for revenge on their home court, a place where they have performed well this season. The Hawks have won 4 on the bounce, however all 4 wins were at the scorers paradise that is the Snakepit. Their away form has not yet ticked any boxes of a potential title contender. The Taipans are a very good team on paper ands it hard to see them losing 2 in a row to a team like Illawarra.

NBL : Townsville TT under 82.5

Following a very simple trend today. The Crocs haven't gone over this total in any of their 10 away games this season. The books are brave showing them this much love on the total and may well be getting a bit carried away after that big comeback win a few nights ago.

WNBL: Bendigo -6.5

Big chance to consolidate a top 3 spot today for the Spirit at home to Melbourne. They will be looking for revenge for the 20 point away loss earlier in the season and the way their playing there's no reason why they won't get it and cover as well. Belinda Snell led Bendigo to 2 big away wins at Townsville and SEQ last weekend which extends the Spirit win streak to 4. If the Spirit can curb the influence on Elyse Pennaluna on the boards then this should be a simple cover as they are playing much better ball than Melbourne currently.

That had to happen.

I'm pretty sure Bendigo killed my 7-0 streak as well. At least we nailed the Townsville TT to go 1-1. Still 11-1 ain't too bad.

Only the one play today and it's straight out revenge for the Fire. It's rare to see a team as good as the Fire get beat twice in a row plus Sydney haven't been playing great ball over the past few weeks.

GL Freddie. I like the over in this Fire/Flames games because the last game was a terrible game with the total hitting just 143 and we know have a total of 155.5

BTW, I am going to the Kings vs Wildcats game today. Last game ever at the KingDome before they relocate. The Entertainment Centre is closing down and is being re-built but not as a b'ball court. Should be a good game with Damion James playing for the Kings but I think Perth will roll.
