NBL: Hawks/Taipans 1H total over 89.5 Hawks 1H tt over 46.5
Staying with the hot trend. The snake pit is an offensive paradise, those rims are so soft that everything seems to drop. The Hawks are big scorers on their home court and have gone 50 or over in their last 4 home games at half time. Based on previous away efforts it's hard to see how Cairns are gonna stop these Hawks from putting up another big score.

Just as I said yesterday the opening line for this game at 3.5 was way too low and has now jumped to 5.5. Still good value though if you plan on backing the Wildcats tonight. Melbourne have dropped right away from their hot start to the season and have lost 4 of their last 6. Their reliance on Goulding and Holt for a bulk of their offence has been exposed and they don't seem to have a plan B. Alternatively the Wildcats have a very balanced line up of players who all contribute consistently. The ace in their deck will be gun forward Casey Prather who has terrorised opposition defences over the past few weeks. The Tigers simply don't have a suitable matchup for Prather on defence which will likely see them opened up and exposed on the fast break. The Wildcats also enjoy the upper hand in the back court with their big 3 of Jawai, Knight and Jervis versus Majok Majok.
Put simply the Cats are playing better ball and are on their home court. With top spot on the line I expect the Wildcats to handle the Tigers by at least 8-9 points, possibly more.
NBL: 18-9 Ytd
NBL: Perth -5.5
