this game is the biggest crap shoot i've ever seen, quarter one only cairns can score, quarter two only adelaide can score, quarter three only cairns can square, quarter four only adelaide can score...crapshoot

I would have taken over too if I had to choose

But took Adel +1.5 1st half and then took under 177.5.

Nbl games are really a coin flip...

Hey guys, just logged back online. This game was ridiculous. No consistency from both teams and Adelaide ended up winning. 

Davo, I leaned towards the over (didn't bet on it) but that would have missed out. Unbelievable. How do the Taipans blow to massive leads and lose the 4Q by 14 points???? Crazy..

Taipens -1.5 

Season: 6-6-1. (3 straight losses this week - might just bet on WNBL hahahaah)

Good job buddy taking the under at that total. The first half produce a lot of points by the 2H was rubbish

For those who don't know me, I like to provide you guys with plenty of stats (check out my WNBA threads throughout that season which just ended).

Ok lets look at tomorrow's game:

Hawks at home against Townsville
First home game for Hawks
First away game for Townsville
Both teams have played 2 games
Hawks have scored 91 (Adelaide) and 73 (NZ). They have let in 97 (ADE) and 92 (NZ)
Townsville has scored 92 (Cairns) and 94 (NZ). They have let in 102 (Cairns) and 84 (NZ).
Hawks games so far, the totals have been 165 (NZ) and 188 (ADE)
Townsville games have been 195 (Cairns) and 178 (NZ).
Last season, Hawk went 8-7 at home, Townsville went 2-12 on the road

The lines aren't out yet for the totals but looking at both teams stats from their first 2 games, the total will be set around 175 I think.

My leans, if the total is set around 170ish, I will take the over.. Not sure with ATS just yet.

Hey all,

Ok here is my play for this game

Hawks vs Crocodiles: under 178.5
Townsville can score points at home, but I think they will struggle on the road this season. Hawks first game, I think they will try and slow down the pace. For the over to hit, it needs an average of 45 points per quarter which I can't see happening in this game. Will be close but I can't see the teams scoring much more than 80-85 points in this one.

Nice hit with this one, final score being 85-81. Called this earlier as well, just didn't see either team getting close to 90 points each for the over to happen

Interesting games today...

Melbourne Tigers vs Adelaide 36ers: 36ers -1.5
Staying away from the total for this game because my personal calculation has it at 162 as well. Going for the 36ers to cover the spread in this one. They beat Cairns (ugly win) the other night and I personally think that Cairns are a better team than Melbourne.

Sydney Kings vs Perth Wildcats (re-match). Wildcats -2.5
They met 2 weeks ago in Perth, Perth won by 12 but that was only thanks to a last 2 minute shooting spree by the Wildcats. Perth has now won 4 straight. They were so impressive against NZ the other day, I cant go against them especially against a team they beat 2 weeks ago by double digits.

Going with the 2 fav's today. Lets see how we go

Going to add another play for todays' game.

Sydney Kings vs Perth Wildcats: under 159.5
My calculation has this game hitting 156. Sydney are missing several key players so I think their offense will be slow and may lack any penetration throughout the game. The last time they met, the game total was 150 and before the last 3 minutes of that games, it was well under 140. Will stick with that for this game as I don't think the quarters will have a 40 point average.

Hey Aussie. Gonna put 1/2 units on Perth -3: have to respect their unbeaten streak and they have also won 6 in a raw against Sydney. 
I think Kmart Tigers (absolutely love that name, maybe I should buy a t-shirt) might win today. I get that feeling just by looking at the teams' recent records so I hope I am wrong. GL on all your plays !

Heeeeyyyyy Axion.. Your finally having a play on Aussie B'Ball.. Yeah Perth are a dominate team, just like the Minnesota Lynx. Don't always cover the spread but Sydney Kings are missing several key players and I think Perth should win this by around 7-8 points. 

LOL, yeah the actual name is Melbourne Tigers but they are sponsored by K-Mart.. Tigers may win today at home against Adelaide. That was a tough game to call.

Watched a little bit of the Perth game, out of curiosity. Tight first 1H, the Kings are really outworking Perth on the offensive glass. I also saw an unforced double-dribble in a professional game, by a Perth player too ! I do not think any Lynx player would do that. Hopefully, the Wildcats will get their act together in the 2H, after their coach yells at them in the locker room. 

Meanwhile, the Kmart Tigers (this is how my book calls them, and I love that name) are up in the 1H.
