Got the correct round this time...gd work dickhead Miracle!
On to this weeks pissy games, and when I mean pissy I simply mean that there is only 2 of them...
Adelaide Vs Geel (-24.5)
Syd (-11.5) Vs Coll
Have to admit that I would have imagined the Syd line to be higher, to me it looks like two teams heading in slightly opposite directions, Coll slipping over the past few weeks while Syd are picking up pace

Just a guess Miracle the Pies have done well at ANZ when they have played there.
Yes they have ecoute, won the last 4 meetings, with the last 2 at the MCG and then the previous 2 befpre that at the Telstra Stadium in Syd where this game will be played. But I think this could change this time around as Syd are simply playing much better footy.

I would take both favorites minus the points at those lines.
Sydney will be refreshed after the break and should come out by two goals at least over the Pies. Collingwood is not a team to run the Swans close and lose. Either they'll beat them or go down by three or four goals.
Adelaide got pumped by Brisbane last round and are only getting four goals against Geelong off a week's break? Yes please. Cats come out fired up off the rest, as all great teams do, and rip Adelaide by 35.
Will adjust my predictions slightly as teams get announced and venue info, research, etc. is done.
Then again, I have been fading myself after seeing what the numbers say the last two rounds to detrimental affect, so why I bother to do the research is beyond me? Follow the research and stats son, follow them and they shall bring you home.
Wow. This round looks easy.

Well, looks like the Pies came out to play. Watched the match and the Swans got dominated in the midfield. Pies ran all over them. Pretty poor accuracy kicking in the fourth term by the Swans too.
Hall got lucky he didn't get reported as well as he took another "Staker" swing that just whiffed a Pies player. Lucky SOB for sure.
Got the Hawks coming up and am already hetting geared up for the one. Big game for the Swans and their fans alike!

I don't understand how the Pies keep beating us. Of all the teams to lose I'd prefer it to be Melbourne that the Pies.
Goodes being out didn't help and Roos should not be making excuses for Barry Hall. Its a blessing in disguise that lose firstly because it stops the Swans getting ahead of themselves. The Swans will also now play more even ball which is what they need to compete against your Dogs, Hawks and Cats.

Maine not as vital as people think. Have a look at his earlier suspension this year and how the team went in terms of wins and in terms of scoring avg for / against.
There are lots of Swans waiting to take his place. Senior player Nick Davis and Junior Craig Bird who kicked 9 goals in the reserves.

How important is the suspended Swan? The game sets up nicely for them, but I don't know how vital a cog they might be missing.
If Davis gets called in, he will fire. No worries.
Like it or not, believe it or not, a lot of the Swans players feed off of Hally and when he is malfunctioning out there, they drop in performance as well. Hally, like it or not, is the unofficial mascot of the team in terms of passion on-field..................and that is not always a good thing.
Hope to see Davis against the Hawks.

Thought the same thing as I was watching the match. I didn't feel too bad as this will get the team back on-track and in the right state of mind for the big matches coming up....firstly against the Hawks this weekend.
Am having a small Swans party this round for some friends, libations, and live footy. Should be a hoot and a great opportunity to introduce more people to the great game that is Aussie Rules.

I reckon they will bring Bird up on the bench. Depends on how Roos wants to do it. Former Cat Playfair is proving to be a legend up forward and can easily take the role of Bazza. Bird could come up, maybe start on the bench not sure as it would be a waste to see him sitting on the bench so it could be a midfielder, come forward. Davis has an injury which I was not aware of. He won't be coming up this week.

Damn shame about Davis' injury. We need a ll the firepower up forward we can get against the Hawks.
