Bernard Lagat to win the 1500m at 13/2. I'm a big track and field fan and this line stood out to me. He already has a silver and bronze medal and is very hungry to win a gold for the USA. With these odds, I have to fire at this one. I'm still waiting for some other lines and will be back with more picks.

you are right. I am looking at this one also. Lagat almost beat the great El Garouj back in 2004 when he ran for Kenya. Lagat is worth a look here. I am also looking at the Team USA Mens basketball. Hope these overpaid jocks don't embarrass us again.

Lagat has medaled in the last two Olympics and became the first man to win the double gold in the 1500 and 5k at the world championships in 07. The only reason he is not the favorite is because he hasn't run a fast time this year. He is certainly capable of it, but it doesn't really matter in a championship style race, regardless.
I'm also taking a look at putting a little on Ramzi in this same race. He always lays low then pops up at championship time and runs great.
