VERY SAD - many former NHLers dead in KHL team plane crash

Lokomotiv Yaroslavl plane crashes on the way to Minsk (shortly after takeoff).  Not sure of the names of the dead but several former NHLers include Skraskins (sp?) and PAVEL DEMITRA on that roster along with a few others.

Will update with names of those we know.

OFFICIAL: Hearing now that it has been confirmed EVERY member of the team (anyone on roster) was onboard and confirmed killed in the crash...

Was supposed to be McCrimmon first game as head coach......

I guess it's too early to find out the cause of the crash....Sabotage? Accidental? Terroism?

More than likely It'll be down to lack of maintenance and the use of old planes dating back to the soviet era. Russia has a very bad safety record in aviation - something that's being addressed, but not quick enough.
