Got one...just so everybody is aware of who Niemi really is besides just what you eher in the media. I mean when you have the talent chicago has, they have to find something wrong with the team. So of coarse they will go right to their goaltending it is no secret it is their weak link.

Yea and I could name at least 5-6 arenas with a crazier home ice advantage.
LOL sounds like typical NY area bullshit arrogance even though the Second City gotcha beat across the board. lol For real though UC a hostile crowd but irs NOTHING like it was in the old Stadium when people wearing Wings,Blues,North Stars, Oilers, OR Leafs jerseys got their asses kicked on a regular basis in the 80's and 90's. so to an extent I guess you're both right and I would know cuz Im from Chicago and have gone to games for 30 yrs

Well you opinion really means nothing as you are judging a series by one game and then turning around and laying a guarantee that Nashville wins a series because they had a total of 11 or 12 shots through 2 periods of hockey and got a lucky goal.
Nashville has no skill!! That will be the difference of the series!
I will make sure I keep this post up in my space so I can come back and laugh at you when the REAL BLACKHAWKS show up the rest of the way.

Im the biggest Pekka Rinne fan here..guys the best goaltender in the playoffs..sometimes i dont know if im biased.
Flutiemaniac I remember when Flutie played for the Bears lol.. Rinne is excellent. Not taking ANYTHING away from Preds but Hawks were lazy last night. They werent skating werent keeping their feet moving and basically beat themselves. Shlda bn up at least 2 goals b4 Niemi let in that piece a shit goal to tie it in 3rd. I live and die with Hawks and have since I was a kid.....but Im honest when it comes to them. They will bounce back and if Nashville wins another game Id be kinda surprised.

i agree chicago is a much much better team but if theres a bigger goaltending advantage in the playoffs, i dont see it.
u can never underestimate the man between the pipes.
rinne will steal a few games in this series but will he steal enough games that is the question.
theres no doubt in my mind that the hawks would be virtual showins for the title with a goalie of rinne's caliber in nets.

Thanks Jimcat....I am only 28 years old and have been a diehard hawks fan since I can remember. My old man is a huge bobby hull and stan mikita fan and my days it was JR and Belfour days.
Regardless, I have been to 5 games this year, and love the UC and this team. I know them very well and agree 105%, the team that was on the ice lastnight was not our Hawks team and I two would be suprised if Nashville wins another game regardless of who is in the net for Nashville. Coach Q will have the boys ready.
Regardless when you have 10 to 12 guys who are no names like Nashville, they will have it tough when Hossa, Toews, Kane, Sharp...do I go on how loaded we are...turn it on!!

I am not wanting to argue with you, but when you haven't been to Chicago this year and actually know that they are the talk of the town, you can't say that this arena is not insane, especially come playoff time.
First off it was GAME 5 of the West Conf Finals and I was there so I know
Second if Chicago is such a great sports city why did the BlackHawks fans disappear in droves for years until the last couple of seasons (see the non sellouts)
Lastly the UC is no "pit". There are several Arenas around the League that are considered much louder and much more difficult to play in
I think the Hawks will win the series in 7 but they have their hands full and an upset would not surprise me one bit
