CHI -140 vs COL: Colorado playing on B2B night, although they have a good history on B2B this is the first of the year and I think their success changes. Chicago has a young, energetic offense that can get on a visiting team early and feed off home ice energy. CHI playing well of late with nice wins vs CLB and DAL, while COL slumping with losses to CLB and SJ. I'll ride the hot team at home. CHI wins 4-3.
CHI vs COL o5.5: Chicago is 7-3 o/u and COL is 6/4. Both score over 3 goals a game and Colorado's Budaj just gave up 5 last night, albeit against a very good SJ team. As state above I see a 4-3 game in Chicago's favor.
BUF @ NJ even: Both could use a win, dropping 3 of their last 4 games. NJ is without the most consistent goalie in the league, Brodeur. BUF has Ryan Miller and his 1.82GAA and .936SA%. I like BUF offense to win this game 4-2.
BUF @ NJ o5.5: With Broduer out I like BUF to score some goals to cover this over. Although BUF has terrific goaltending, NJ has had no problem puting the puck in the net this year. This will get to 6.
CLB -120 @ NYI: Another team without their starting goaltender in the NYI's DiPietro. However, DiPietro has not been healthy and backup MacDonald posts a better GAA and SA%. CLB sends Norrena into the net with a miserable .847 SA% and the NYI average 33 shots on goal. I like the home team to win this battle between two bad teams.
CLB @ NYI o5.5: Just keep those overs rolling tonight. With the goaltending in this game being less then stellar, I like this one to reach 7 or 8.
