Kings -110
Im sure not scared of Ottawa's offense thats for sure. Im sure not scared of their defense either. I wanna make this a big play.

Quick looked great against Boston. Ottawa has looked a little rough as of late.
Overall, LA is obviously a far superior club. The risk here comes in betting against an Ottawa team that likely feels it needs a win to get back on track. They'll need a hell of an effort to get one tonight, but are they up for it?

wouldnt go that far...but i myslef see a much tighter game than expected.... lets say something like 4-2

this is the last road game for the kings and they get to finally return home. conversely, it's the first home game for the sens, where they finally get to play in front of the fans after the tragic loss they faced last week. this is the last game before both teams get some break for 1 day and return to the ice on wednesday. the kings are obviously a far superior team, yet the line is set at -110. i think sens play lights out and win this first game back home. i know leclaire is horrible but he's 0.93 GAA against the kings in his career. quick didn't look like the usual himself in the last game against boston, and i think this trend will continue tonight. karlsson (sens d) is out for tonight, and when this happens, the game usually goes over, regardless of who the winner is going to be. i haven't locked anything in yet, but i'd say the safest bet would be the over.

FYI- LA plays AT Montreal on Wednesday and Quick's poor performance resulted in a 38 save performance including 6 stops in the shootout for a 4-3 LA win.
Teams coming home after a long road trip tend to have a rough outing in their first game home. I don't like the OVER as much as other people do but LA at -105 is awesome. If this was in LA, the Kings would be priced right around -170 so consider this a gift.

Careful!!!
For whatever reasons Ottawa has a way of beating superior teams at home more often than not. Whether it's a late bounce, a late call against the opposition or whatever, things tend to go their way on home ice, usually in the fluke-type manner. If it's a tie game or Ottawa is trailing with under five minutes remaining in regulation time, watch for at least one call against the Kings to put Ottawa on the powerplay. Happens on a regular basis!

If you think Quick didnt play good in Boston your wrong. I watched the whole game and he was taking an onslaught and still playing well but allowed some tough goals in the 3rd and shutdown the Bruins on 6 penalty shots in which the Bruins actually looked pathetic. I don't play hockey but I could have came closer to scoring than all 6 shooters did. I just hope the Kings get up for this game like they did in Boston which is probably not as easy as it sounds.
