Lippsman   i appreciate all you do here in the hockey forum and value your opinion
 
 i tend to watch line movemnt in all other sports and i have noticed that in hockey  alot of times the movemnt is huge on some games ..do you factor movement with your picks or do you ignore it

Where pucks do not get much wagering action the line moves are much more volatile. I never base my wagers on line movement.  If you do this in the long run you will end up at a 50-50 split.

I will though look at a line when I finish capping and see if it's a good bit off from what I have the line calculated to be.  If you look at the thread yesterday I questioned why the Nucks were only a -110 fave when I had them at -130.

Well it ended up that my line was better than the oddsmakers. But don't forget that lines are made on perception and not the actual line of what the oddsmakers think it should be.  If they made the line what it should of been. Nucks -130, there would of been a good deal of money on the Kings where the Nucks have been playing poorly. But from what I saw on many boards, the Kings were still a more popular pick than the Nucks.

Although there is one thing I always like that will get me to put more cash on a pick.  That's if I make my pick and see the public or picks on the boards are going a good deal against me.  I will raise my wager almost everytime.
