Not here to bash but whats the point of fading a team that is near the top of the NHL and is being treated by oddsmakers like they are a middle of the road team because of injury?

#1 defensive D-man Brooks Orpik back in the lineup today vs Panthers should mean the Penguins D gets even better.

I stated in the thread back on March 8th that "my Pennies have gotten a bunch of injured players back. most regulars ex Malkin (out for the season) and Crosby (who knows?) back healthy. might be time to give the "blind fade" a rest.

since then they are 6-2

that being said, I saw a late Panthers "line dump" @ the Hilton just before game time. went from +235 to +200  

daily "Big Dog" and esp those +200 or higher, have been stinking in March. will see what happens today.

kind of a "bad beat" for you in Panthers game. I thought they outplayed my Pennies most of the game BUT brought in Clemmensen for the OT and shootout where Kovalev and Neal smoked him.

Flower saved the game AGAIN for the Pens with 37 saves

They will probably lose to the Flyers Tuesday, if the Flyers want to secure the top seed in the East they will come to play. I can't wait until Sid the kid comes back!

thinking that too. the Flyers line has dropped 10 cents from it's overnight to even this morning

BUT Flower and the D could STEAL yet ANOTHER one.

Could go either way, I wouldn't bet the game that is for sure. Unless maybe you make a play on the under given the hot play of MAF.

be interesting to see IF the Penguins can score against Scott Clemmensen. he and "E Normous" Johnson, who is coming off injury, confirmed in goal tonight.

Big game, no doubt.

The Lightning are putting up a fight for home ice.

For the Pens it must be a daunting prospect, knowing they are going to face the Lightning, in the first round.

I would consider the home ice advantage a must for the Pens at this point.

will agree AND the Lightning winning 3-1 with 12 mins to go @ Minnesota. Bugs win and Pens loss would put the Pens only 1 point ahead for 4th place, behind one ROW win and with the Bugs having a game-in-hand.
