0-2 vs 2-0. Looks like perfect weather in Buffalo for football, and a mismatch.
As I mentioned in another thread, when things aren't going well at home, take a trip. A long trip. Enter LAC, sometimes playing on the road is just less pressure, you can breathe a little better. That may be the case for Justin Herbert and company. They've started badly and play like they have the first two games and we may have a mercy rule finish with the Bills. But, they won't. Herbert and new O.C. Mike McDaniel are going to figure things out, simplify some things, run Omarion Hampton, he's a beast waiting to be unleashed IMO (and on my fantasy team today). They have a good coach in Harbaugh and 35 year old Khalil Mack and Derwin James on defense, veteran leaders, this team has pride and you can expect a more focused effort today. A big part of their problem is TO's, they're -4, +/- on TO's so far with 5 TOs, only Atlanta has more.(Buffalo has ZERO TOs) But that's correctable, they've just made dumb mistakes that again, can be fixed and Buffalo may be "due" for one or two of their own.
The Bills look great ...on offense. But giving up 31 ppg and 368 ypg is a concern. And an advantage the Chargers should have, is new O.C. Mike McDaniel, former Dolphins coach. While McDaniel's Dolphins team may not have had a lot of success vs Buffalo, he knows them from playing twice a year, he's surely learned a thing or two.
Scheduling -
I always look at this, LAC play Buffalo today then have Seattle, Denver, and KC, yikes, that's a football Murderers Row. If that doesn't get the Chargers attention, nothing will, time to check yourself.
Buffalo plays New England next, don't tell me the Bills aren't thinking a little about this division rival that came out of nowhere last year and did what Buffalo can't seem to do anymore, get to the Super Bowl, it's likely circled on their calendars. Could be a scheduling favor the Chargers.
FWIW I have a future on Buffalo to win the SB, +750. I think they'll be challenged today however, "the wounded dog," fighting for its life, you know it going to be fight, a huge game for the Chargers especially again with SEA, DEN, and KC on deck. Gimme the points and sum of those good Buffalo style chicken wings, luv me sum wings (and a cold beer!)
