USA -2.5 looks to good to be true.
I agree, I didn't quite understand it when it came out. I saw nothing from the Finns the other night to suggest they can contain the US squad.
I don't understand the line ... it was -2.5 and now it is down to -2 at almost even money ... HUH?

I've said this same thing so many times in the past, that being if a line looks fishy or somewhat odd, it's that way for a reason. We all thought the U.S. should have been or would have been more than a -2 goal favorite over the Fins today and because they weren't, the skepticism kicked in but the bets proceeded to back the U.S. just the same. Once again as it turned out, the bookmakers set the line at -2 to attract as much U.S. money as possible. In the end they did, in the end the Fins won and finally in the end so did the oddsmakers. Btw for the record, Canada's drawback or so-called weak link going into this year's tournament is in nets, a position they're normally very potent in each year. With the States having a quality starter in Campbell, they weretherefore listed as favorites ahead of the Canadians to win this year's tournament in Edmonton.
