The key to this game IMO is the Baltimore defensive front against the Minny offensive line.
Minnesota has long been hailed as having one of the best O-lines in football but they are starting 2 rookies this year. The left side has still been good but the right side hasn't been up to snuff even against the chumps they've played so far with a rookie C and RT.
They've played against the Lions, Rams, Browns, 49ers and Packers D-lines so far which is hardly intimidating. The 49ers have a good defense but not what I'd call a great defensive line. Although it is very interesting to note that the 49ers were still able to get pressure and although Favre had stats at the end, he wasn't really very good up until the final drive. Also interesting to look at the Green Bay game. The Packers play the 3-4 (like Baltimore) and their front 3 have a lot of beef. In that game the Vikes O-line couldn't push that beef off the line of scrimmage and because of that the Packers linebackers were able to stay in their gaps and it really hampered Adrian Peterson as there just wasn't any holes, he finished with 25 carries for just 55 yards (2.2 per).
The Ravens have a bigger and BETTER front 3 than the Packers and they also have better linebackers. There's a reason why they have been dominate against the run for years and they should be able to keep Peterson in check especially if the Vikings o-line can't move the front. That leaves Favre against the Ravens secondary. Favre should be seeing some heat and this guy is wild as all hell when he's being flushed. That's a scary thought with a guy like Ed Reed back there. Favre hasn't really had to run yet as Minny has faced such weak defenisve fronts so far. Contain the run game and get the old man moving and you win the game.

Best insight is right there in BOLD.
We don't know how the Vikings will play when faced with a team like the Ravens, Favre having to run for his life on occasion.

Sorry Robert but whatever you are smoking, you need to quit. "Ravens no offense"???? Are you kidding me? Top 5 in pts means you can score a little bit lol. As far as the spread, maybe the Vikings are a little overrated and the Ravens could be a little underrated. Ravens are 3 dumb penalties away from being 5-0. Ravens will close out these games better in the future. Ravens +2.5 all day long

Last time Favre faced Ray Lewis and the Ravens he threw for 337 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs, an 80% completion for a passer rating of 137.4
Hey Bling!!! Did you forget in 2004 when he threw for 144 yards and 2ints. Ravens had a bad year but the beat Brett Favre a$$ that day. Get your facts together before you step outside of your boundaries like that.

I'm sorry. I was wrong. It was 2005 when the Ravens beat up on Brett Favre. They will do it again on Sunday. 2 straight tough losses. Vikings haven't played anyone like Baltimore yet. Favre just played his best game on MNF. That won't happen again. Ravens pass rush will get stronger this week. Ravens are gonna be playing like some wild, wounded animals on Sunday. We all know how Brett reacts when the heat is on.
