Why the Hell are the Vikings only -2.5 Faves over the Ravens

Am i missing something, the Ravens Secondary is awful. They come off a tough Loss and the Vikings come off a stroll in the Park.......is this a let down spot or something for the Vikes

Vikings haven't really been tested, and the Ravens have their backs up against the wall against, fighting to keep up in their division.

so should we pound the Ravens because i love backing dogs who lay less than a field goal, i.e. Atlanta Last week, Baltimore over the Chargers. I expected the Spread to be -4.5

Baltimore has played a tougher schedule and has been better on the road - if they won, it wouldn't even be considered a mild upset.

Of course, Vikes could win, line indicates Vegas think it's near a coin toss, they may even be afraid to make it 3 because they fear lots of $ coming in on the Ravens.

Ravens are a solid team now that there offense is playing good.

But the last two weeks they have been mediocre at best, First down...Play action, 70 yard shot down field to Mark Clayton or Mason, incomplete.....2nd down rush for 3 yards and then there facing there 3 and 7, you might complete them a few times but against jared allen will be a lot harder.

this line is right where it should be

the ravens can beat the vikings. coming off a loss you know htey will be plenty pissed off.

2 straight HORRIBLE losses where the defense was the center of attention between letting up a last minute td last game and being falgged for rediculous penalties against the Pats.  you may see a monster unleashed this weekend, bottom line its tough to bet against a team facing their 3rd consecutive loss especially when its a team lead by ray lewis and ed reed

Yep, Vikings have not been at all tested.  5 games that they should win they won, doesn't mean much.  Ravens have been tested week after week after week.  They've had a couple really tough losses. 

I am a diehard Vikings fan, I would never bet against my team.....but if this line hits 3.5.....I might have to bet against my team

Are you serious ? This is the type of game the Vikings can very well lose. I can that happening Sunday. The Ravens defensively matches up well with the Vikings. You have a great linebacker core that can aggrivate Favre into forcing bad passes as we all know he can do and you have a secondary that can hawk those passes down. I like the Ravens in this spot.

bangerboy..i'm a big ravens fan....the secondary is  phucked up right now...Fabian and Dominque have been terrible..The rookie Webb about 2 replace Foxworth,he has been burnt more than my toast in the a.m.....If it wasn't 4 my love of the Ravens I'd B all over the Vikes...

Shrimp I understand your point but before you think about the corners think about will Favre will be able to deliver under the serious heat the Ravens front 7 will be bringing. Favre is known for gun slinging under bad situations.

the lack of pressure off of the edge this year has been a glaring issue 4 them,and unless that changes they R in trouble..i remember Foxworth from his days in Denver,he was a joke,had a decent year in Atlanta last year,but when they signed him i was....and i've seen nothing from him 2 think any different...i hope they have a 3rd huge effort in Minny on sunday,but 2 say i'm concerned would B an understatment....

what team in there right mind would be afraid of this balt defense,they dont have one,you guys are living in the past,yes they have a better offense,but defense wise there piti-ful,and that wont change,ed reed great player,ray lewis is a ass and that is all he is,vikings have better rb,wrs,more knowledgeable qb,at home,ravens are a bust.

For real, is min your play of the month or u just yanking my chain. They cant win them all charley so i wouldnt put it on a team whos 5-0...why, because if they lose it wont mean a thing to them...a small glitch on the road to the playoffs for the vikings...on the other hand the ravens need this if they mess up you can almost kiss the season goodbye for them with the bengals and the steelers ahead of them in the division

Nice to hear from you man, the over will be a nice bet aswell think about it...if the Ravens are going to win they have to put 21+ on the Vikes, no doubt they have to get into there early season offensive mode
