Why the Hell are the Vikings only -2.5 Faves over the Ravens

They didn't play in 2004, they played in 2005 Einstein.  That's what happens when you step outside your "boundaries" whatever that is.  You get things wrong.


The reason I didn't mention it is because when the Packers played the Ravens in 2005 they were on their 6th string RB, signed off some practice squad mid season, their WR corps was decimated, and they lost their two pro bowl guards.  Brett was running for his life all year while all the talent that was around him was on the IR.  To try to compare that statistical anomaly of a season to the current Vikings is idiotic.  The whole season is an asterisk.

Looks like John Q public is on the Ravens.  You know what that means.  We'll see if the squares win this one and Vegas loses.  Should be a good game regardless

Did you not read my 2nd post "genius"? I said 2005......and I was only responding to your quote about "The last time Brett faced the Ravens". You didn't say anything about his supporting cast, coaches, his momma or anyone else but I guess that's a good "excuse". Anyway, good luck to the Vikings because I do like Favre and Peterson. I'm just a fan. I'm not Einstein or a NFL Expert of any sort. Just hoping my team wins.

This game is going to have a ton of big hits in it.  The Vikings are built for the dome.  They have speed at the skill positions and have a very fast defense.  I like our chances in this one.  The dome will be rockin'!

I don't see Minn losing at home, agree with another thumpin in the dome 35-10. Flacco is going to #69 ALL DAY LONG!

The Vikings offense hasn't really been tested yet this year, and the Ravens have their backs to the wall after two tough losses.  Favre hasn't faced a good pass rush all season.  The 49ers defense gave them trouble, and is the best defense they've faced.  IMO the Ravens will bring their A game, and they will win outright.

When someone says ...'am i missing something'...YES U ARE....Favre might end his career on a stretcher....Baltimore is a sleeping, seething, monster....I am unloading on Ravens because they will outscore Vikes...by about 24 pts

San Fran has one of the best D's with probably the best linebacker in the league and they won in a shootout with the Packers who's offense is one of the leagues best.

People want to rip Minn's sched, but let me ask you this, WHO HAS BALTIMORE BEAT?  The beat KC,  big woop, they beat the freakin browns, ohh wow!, and they won a close one with the usual early season under performing Chargers who were a bad refs call away from losing to OAKLAND!  People want to rip on Minn schedule, but Baltimore has LOST to every team they have played this year that is even remotely good. 

People who want to pick Balt based on Minn sched are fooling themselves and totally missing the other side of the coin
