Many are dead broke, and could use a payout from a media organization to blow open a supposed story. The answer is because pro sports are not rigged. Unless you want to include wrestling. This is the most obvious response. The NFL is a billion dollar organization. Teams are worth billions, players make millions... what benefit do they have at all in risking the leagues reputation by rigging games? The liability that would be created by a single executive in the NFL telling anyone to rig a game is far greater than what they would lose by a "popular" team losing. The post truth society crackpot crowd is ridiculous. And its amazzzing how many there are.

    Such simpleminded ignorance.

They sr worth billions because they don't.let random shit happen. They aren't risking anything. They are doing exactly as they want.

Teams do not win unless they deem it so.

The stars just aligned I suppose...for brady to break the all time record in primetime, vs his old team.....? You're a childish ignorant fool if you can't admit it's predetermined

    @chic-cardinals

Yup, Brady threw just the right amount of yards every game over the past 20 years, just so he could break the record in prime time vs his old team on October 3rd 2021. So now we have gone from discussing game fixing to players and the NFL becoming psychic and foreseeing the future. I've got some magic beans for sale if you would like to buy them. This conversation has evolved beyond stupid. Pass.

Oh,that's right..you know everything there is to know about history and power and the secrets of the universe and elite and powerful. (Sarcasm)

There's no way you could be fooled, right?

Yes, you ignore how fucking perfect and unlikely this is. You are the fool in this scenario.

Dude, why are you so angry? Last question: If you believe the NFL is fixed, why do you bet on it and watch it? This conspiracy theory shit has got to end somewhere.

So they're going to bite the hand that feeds them? That's ridiculous. The whistleblowers have already come out and said it's rigged. You just don't believe them or discredit them. And no, I'm not going to link them. You are in front of a pc with Google. Use it.

Too tired, going to bed. Looking forward to the next "fixed game" thread after the Monday night game tomorrow. Have a great night guys, hope you win your bets tomorrow, but if you don't, I'm sure the "fix" is in.

You're going to say that it's the first 10 plays only and/or it's just wordsmith. It's a soap opera for men. Reality TV is as real as this game. That's the truth. Xs and Os have nothing to do with it. No, not every player is in on it or knows, but it's stage none the less.

Nope, I don't place bets on entertainment, just sports. Same reason I don't bet on "pro wrestling". Back to bed for me. Have a great night.

I've doubled my bank roll already this year. If I lose I don't say it was rigged. I'm betting with the knowledge that it's already rigged so I'll just be on the wrong side. No excuse when I lose except that I missed something capping the game.

Good luck on your bets. I never hope someone loses a bet. I hope everyone wins because it's not a competition between us. It's just us vs the book.

The fact that there are literally 1000's of bets possible in one single game before and during proves the fixed theory a loser! Which one of those thousands of bets are fixed?

College football last Year..ECU @ Tulsa.. ECU is a 20 point dog I believe and winning outright.. go and search it on YouTube.. ECU got shafted bigtime.. even the AAC came out and said the refs and replay messed it up big time..there are numerous videos on this game.. u tell me how that is not fixed by the refs or replay. Not just 1 play.. 3 plays on the game winning drive that Tulsa won the game. an_lightan_lightan_lightan_light

Like others have said.. with replay and technology of the cameras in various angles and slow mo etc .. either the refs are dumb and should not be reffing or they are on the take and fixing games.. there is no in between.

tonight would have been pats +7, was pretty clear before hand.  but in theory its about more then just betting, nfl wants an exiting program otherwise fandom would decline.

you have the right attitude, bettors who don't want to acknowledge games are sometimes manipulated are missing golden opportunities like tonight's game.

Refs screwing up calls in a game does not indicate systemic "fixing" in a sport. At the very worst, there could be the tiniest chance that someone was paid off for that individual game. Or maybe the refs just had a bad day. Happens in every industry in the world, people and teams in every business shit the bed sometimes. But definitely not indicative of a huge conspiracy involving the entire NFL or NCAA.

The only ones that matter. I'll say this, if everyone that has access to draft kings/online books etc decides to bet on player A that he gets over 75 rushing yards, and not a single person bets on the under, I can promise you an injury, or something will happen in the game that all these people on this lopsided action lose. You'll have an excuse instead of reality of the situation.

Don't come here and say injuries aren't faked either. They absolutely are every week, every game, every year. It's part of the show. You don't have to believe it.

The calls might have been WRONG, doesn't mean it was fixed! Being incorrect in a decision does not make you a liar, cheater, or corrupt. Sometimes we are just wrong, people make mistakes in every business everyday. Also, we seem to have gotten off topic. We are talking about one NCAA game here, not the thousands of other games played each year in the NCAA and NFL. Have a great night, and all the best on whatever side you take tomorrow.

The year zeke elliot got a 6 game suspension, during the cowboys appeals,  for 5 or more games their opponents did not called for one offensive holding penalty during the appeal.  Cowboys dlineman complained jokingly about it.  That is not refs who hate the cowboys, they were following orders.  They were being punished for appealing the suspension by the league,  It was bad for washington the last few years until they changed their name.

Shit the bed sometimes? You are talking about a coincidence buddy. Now ask yourself how many coincidences have to occur before you realize it's not a coincidence anymore? 5?50? 100? 1000?

If you've watched as many games as I have, you see the curtain peeled back like in the Wizard of Oz my friend.

Yes an errant pass that bounces off a helmet and into a guy that's at the perfect place is a coincidence. When you see kickers missing chip shots, coaches calling stupid plays, players doing dumb things, it's part of the plan.

I remember betting on Manning in Denver against KC. Denver favored by 7. KC has the ball at the end of the game and if the game ends there, KC covers. My brother is losing his mind. Calls me up and is bitching that we're about to lose.

I told him chill, just wait for it, KC is inside their own 10 yd line and Denver is about to get a turnover. I forget the rb name but he fumbles, Denver recovers and we win our bet. That was not a coincidence my friend. That was years of watching football with a point spread attached and how much Vegas would lose if KC covers.

Did I know before the game it would come to that? No. But during the game you start to see things playing out.

If you never believe it's rigged I'm extremely happy for you and I actually envy you. Look at my screen name. I used to be die hard. Not anymore. I'll bet against my Saints. I bet Carolina 2 weeks ago. The game doesn't mean as much as it used because the wizard opened my eyes. Keep your faith buddy. Don't peek behind the curtain.

Ok sure.. 2 wrong plays that were reviewed by replay and were wrong on the game winning drive with less than 2 minutes to go. 1 a clear fumble and 1 a pass that the ball hit the ground on 4th down. Ok sure whatever u say. I mean 2 bad calls that the league acknowledged as Wrong and that they said ECU would have won SU. Whatever u say.. it was clear as pie. That is what replay is for. Ok .. u miss 1 call fine.. then u miss another one a few pays later on the GAME DECIDING DRIVE. peace_5 Oh it is just a mistake. We won’t even mention the turnover on downs on that drive and a late PI penalty from a ref 40 yards away from the so called penalty.

Too many game deciding calls for mere mistakes.

Remember the replacement refs and how bad they were? Fans getting pissed at refs wanting new ones, Espn talking about them lol. Nfl hires replacements. Fans wanted the original refs back because of how bad they were and when those refs came back nothing changed. A shit leopard can't change its spots.

The entire nfl is based on subjective calls to manipulate the whole thing and so many people ignore that fact. Excuses for everything but the truth.

Bed time mate. Good luck to everyone if they play the MNF game.
