What if Packers are not being truthful about

Rodgers injury. I started to think about this and if I was the packers I would not want to disclose to anyone that Rodgers can't play on Sunday. This way the Cowboys can't totally switch focus to Matt Flynn and stopping the run. Figure if rogers can't go  the offense plan will be an extra heavy dose of Lacy.

Flynn has been taking all the reps at practice since Rodgers is not so that to me is preparation in a sense. Team doctors have not cleared Rodgers to play as of yet. He is schedule to do a light practice at best today.

I have a sneaking suspension that we will hear 30 minutes before the game starts that he is not going to play or he will play in 1st qtr and be out the rest of the game. I am not a doctor but have suffered hamstring injury before and I can say that I was in pain just walking 3 weeks after injury.

I can understand the reason for not disclosing if they know he won't play but it just sucks for those looking to back pack.

I don't get why people keep talking about him not practicing...

They practiced all of TWO times last week, and twice this week...

What is the point of the bye week if people don't rest? 

Did he somehow play in the 2nd half against Det, and it got worse? 

Does Rodgers need to even practice at this point of the season? 

Some people just don't make sense...

He will be playing this week. He will win and covers, at least I hope so.

Aaron Rodgers is playing at his best this year and I see this team going against (yes) DENVER BRONCOS. Rodgers is MVP worthy, but the ring may be going to (yes) MANNING. Let him have a ring, he's legacy will be the greatest in football our generation will ever watch! This will give Aaron Rodgers some memories and a thing to better himself as the next LEGACY next and surpassing Brett  FARVE!

This is just my thinking. To me a makes a world of a difference if you got Flynn instead of Rodgers. The whole dynamic of the game changes for the cowboys preparing for the game.

For what it is worth Rodgers said he is going to play and I just read this from CBS. Seems like little by little the truth is coming out.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has a slight tear in his calf muscle, sources told ESPN. He is also dealing with a significant strain.

The injury is not expected to sidelined Rodgers for Sunday's playoff game vs. Dallas, but it could impact his mobility.

"There's no question he will play, but there's also no question he will not be 100 percent," said one doctor familiar with the injury. "The question is whether he'll be 95 percent or 50 percent."

If Flynn plays, which he wont unless Rodgers gets hurt again, GB has no chance....

Rodgers played the 2nd half against the Lions with the EXACT same injury...he didn't do this on the bye week or this week...

I am not looking up the numbers but I believe he was 11 for 13 and 130ish yds in the 2nd half...against a much better Lions D

I hope you are right because I got them on two futures to win division and wanted to go large on them against the boys but got to wait and see..

The cold weather tightens up all your muscles...Rodgers in nowhere healthy. He is there leader, of course he's going to say all the right thing. I personally the Cowboys are catching a break in this matchup. The offense is too reliable on Rodgers and I just don't see him playing his usual game. It's going to be run, run pass types of game plan for Packers and their defense will top up.

He will definitely play but I recently delt with a serous calf sprain. You feel pretty good after some rest but if he tries to push off of it too quickly it will pop again like it did against Detriot(it feels like someone shot you in the calf). If this happens he's pretty much immobile. Now Rodgers has the stongest arm in the league, he can throw off one leg but it could make it much easier to defend . He'll baby it early but your juices get flowing and you want to run for that 6 yard first down and.................... We'll see

Lol. If you want "just fine" in the playoffs. IMO the SB is not in your future with just fine, you need great play at the pivot to win it!

He will play as long and as hard as he can,that guy has some heart,he aint cutler,these kinda games,mean something to him.I'll take Rodgers against Romo,even on one leg.

 

Youre right, I guess 11-13 and 130yds is better than just fine....I guess Ill take that too against a much better Det defense and front 4.
