This weeks Best Bet is...

Carloina -3: This is a pretty even match up based on the last couple weeks. Carolina is on the way up and Miami is pretty flat. I think it comes down to two things. 1) Home field. I like the Panthers with momentum at home. 2) Ronnie Brown. After hurting his ankle last week he's day to day. If he's not a factor in this game I think that really hurts Miami's ability to win this game. I'll take my chances with an improving Carolina team at home vs a banged up Ronnie Brown.

Other leans:

Washington +11

SF +7 (hook)

NO -11.5

Det/Cleveland UNDER 38.5

probably add a total play on the Jets/New England game depending where that # comes out.

  looks good, all of em! I really like Washington +11 in a division game, their D is strong and their O is... well not as bad as earlierin the year haha. Think they play a strong game, +11 is plenty of cusion

GL Bud. I totally agree with you on Washington. Too many points for a divisional game and they lose lots, but usually pretty close.

I like Washington, but I'm not betting any game with the Cowboys anymore. They are the most unpredictable team in the league. Romo is a choke artists. If he fights with his girl friend during the week, he'll play a bad game. You never know about them. I had them getting 10 last week in a teaser & he threw a pick from 1st & goal at the 1 yard line. They lost by 10. Cost me 660.

Picks look good, but to change the subject a little, take the Raiders and 9 1/2 or whatever you get. Bengals are playing great but this is an emotional let down game for them. Still think they squeak it out in 4th quarter but traveling across country after a very physical game with the Steelers, makes me think they aren't going to be as crisp as they have been. They have been a notoriously bad team on the west coast and this game falls right into that. Raiders have nothing to lose, so look for them to possibly have a slight lead going into the 4th quarter with the Bengals having to pull out a game winning drive. The Bengals are definitely going to the playoffs, but this is going to be one of those off weeks that all NFL teams have. Bet it large and take the money to the bank. Holla!!

i don't trust the Saints anymore. they haven't covered in like a month and Tampa seems to be on the come up, at home at that.
