Keep in mind that I haaaate the Broncos and dont really care much for Manning (either of them). But gotta give respect when its due...especially if money can brighten up your day. Wont win the SB that way, but will certainly win a lot of games (probably wont beat the spread as much tho). If the Bronco's D can match up well with the rosters New England, Green Bay, Seattle, and St. Louis have come January...they can win the Superbowl. 

I don't think the Broncos have any shot at the superbowl.  They just happened the luck out in the battle of the "dueling noodles".  Alex Smith and Jamaal Charles gave the game away.  And ps, yes Peyton has a pick 6, but Alex Smith had what amounted to a pick six, Jamaal Charles fumbled in the red zone, Alex Smith got picked in the red zone, Jamal Charles fumbled AGAIN essentially handing the Broncos the win.  And even with all that, the Broncos were facing a do or die drive with 4 minutes left.  The Chiefs couldn't have played much worse, and they won't even be one of the top 5 teams the Broncos play this year.

Jamaal Charles was stripped once, credit the Broncos D. Also, it's not like Alex Smith just threw lame ducks right at defenders, they were athletic takeaways...the type elite Defenses cause. 

No shot at the Superbowl? That's a bold statement considering Jeff Sagarin has them rated #2 overall, will be #1 if Patriots lose this season. Trap sites like ESPN have them #4. They have arguably the best defense, best receiving core, and strong home advantage. If you think Peyton putting up 3 TDs in 1 game (without his #1 RB at full health, 10 days off will be huge moving forward) on top of an electrifying come back isnt legendary status on a Brett Favre level, then good luck fading them.

Look, some of us think KC gave the game away..some of us think Broncos earned it all on their own.

They won, however they won, and congrats to the guys who were on the luckier side of that overall sh*t fest of a game. 

But let's not get carried away in the afermath...Denver isn't going to the Super Bowl.

Your writeup on the Fins game is extremely good. The only small thing I disagree is with Reshad Jones. Might not end up being a big deal but Jones is very valuable to this defense. I'd rank him definitely 4th best player on the D (behind Suh, Wake, Grimes.) I do like the backup safety Michael Thomas and I think he would start on a lot of teams in the NFL. The D-line should absolutely dominate. They didn't play well last week and even not playing well the drew countless penalties and dominated line of scrimmage. The Skins just seemed to have really good play calling the first half and Morris played well combined with bad tackeling.

@earthwake: I didn't meant to say Reshad Jones isn't valuabe. I just think that - if he misses this game - it's not a blow to the Dolphins on Sunday because it's the Jaguars offense. I was following his injury status though.

Maybe dumb but I took a gamble on the jets SU at +250 and threw them in a $10 3 teamer. Good luck on your picks and insight.

Can you give a detailed write up on the Jets game? I'm sure you will eventually. I took the Colts -1 in a big parlay. I do see the angle on the Jets. Hilton is likely out. Revis will be on Andre Johnson, the Jets have a great front 7, Brandon Marshall opens up the offense a lot, Chris Ivory is a physical runner & the Jets are probably the more physical team in the trenches. However, the Colts just got embarrassed and humiliated on the road. They did not look good. They'll be wanting to bounce back at home & avoid an 0-2 start. The Jets are lucky McCown dove in the end zone & got hurt and fumbled. If he doesn't make that play, the Browns might win that game. McCown and the Browns had that game under control until that play. Johnny Manziel is just straight up awful. He is a turnover machine. That win doesn't impress me that much. I know you're a Jets fan. But this is a tough spot for them. I think they cover and lose 27-21.

I can rest easy seeing you on the Bengals side too.

Have you looked at CHI or Oakland? I think both are in very good spots as home dogs. Both opponents banged up and missing players (Ellington and Suggs respectively).

GL brothah, Id be right there with you on MIA but I need to be conservative until I get my bankroll up.

GL!  Was wondering your take on the Raiders this week?  Situation looks great for them balt doing a lot of travel and lost suggs.. raiders get to 7 will be a small play for me especially with the total slowing coming down.  Any thoughts?
