The fact that you measure success in increments of week to week, rather than a season as a whole, exposes this for the whining post that it is.
'Good, consistent' handicappers have crazy good weeks, and crazy bad weeks. Go learn about 'significant sample sizes' before you come in here having a cry about one specific week's results.

Suuma has a track record of posting significant winning seasons, so I'm not sure who you are to question his consistency. If all we ever did was post winning weeks then we'd all be rich. You can't make judgements on anything based upon one weeks results.

Your statement hold no water when it revolves around such a small sample size. It's been only two week cool guy. If you were to look however, to his record over a span of 20 weeks (a significant sample size) you would know he's solid. Read before you post please.

I had a good laugh
Not that I need to justify but for those who didnt watch all the games:
Had the Chiefs game predicted spot on, but was on the wrong side of 5 KC turnovers who averaged like 1 with Alex Smith. The Saints and Bucs combined for 7 red zone attempts plus the Saints missed a two-point conversion and an extra point. Goes over 47 in 9 of 10 games.
Wrong call on Fins and Rams (terrible letdown, they couldnt tackle) but even the Fins had a shot at covering but the loss of Albert was too much.
Irage please come back when I bounce back heavily.

Tailed you on KC. Truly believe it was the right side 100%. Charles cost them the game. Also, some terrible play calls. If Charles doesn't fumble on first drive of game Chiefs win. Stayed away from Rams, not a good spot for them. Overtime win at home vs Hawks going on road vs Skins team after a loss. You're a great capper I just think you should look at "spots" a little more. Tailed on Bucs over. One of the sloppiest ugliest games I've ever witnessed. Two bad football teams. Missed EP, two missed FGs, just a $hit-show.
Dolphins was just a bad pick. Never stood a chance. Good call on Oakland. Hope you're wrong tonight on Jets but I love them getting 7. The money line has moved from +315 to +235.

I too did not have a good week.
Bengals
Pitt
Ravens
Dolphins
Philly
I lost the 3 afternoon games where the road dog all won. I would attribute that to a bit of variance but I probably overestimated and underestimated certain teams.
Everyone is going to have down weeks. Though I was leaning Cards and maybe my game selection could have been better. Still you learn things after week 2 is over that I did not know. Have to know which teams to avoid and which to focus on.

You cannot cap motivation, hidden agendas, mood or how a player thinks in the middle of action with a lot of influences going on all at once(crowd, refs, violent hits, trash talking etc) Everything is moving fast and players have to react quickly....and players make mistakes in the heat of battle.
Suuma is one of the most insightful cappers on this board. Love his analysis on o-lines and how many hits hurries they allow. Makes all the difference most of the time

I dont know nearly as much about football as you suuma, but I could see that we were unlucky in Chiefs game and unlucky for the total not to go over, but hey thats gambling.
I hope you don;t let a clown like irage get to you, as I am really enjoying your write ups and hope they continue throughout the season.
