Hey Meloss,The beanie itself was a typical laborer's cap when the economy was moved from agriculture to industry when manufacturing jobs began to dominatethe employment sector. The propeller was popularized through this cartoon through the Beanie and Cecil cartoon 50's, where the propeller actually appeared on top of the beanie.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMdReHP9cb0If you look at the main villain there with the mustache, clearly the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon ripped him off as their main villain and just shortened him up and put some weight on him. Now, as far as Alice and Wonderland goes, yes I've seen it. Virtually every American adult has!Now here's the disturbing part that few people know:Lewis Carroll, the world famous author, it is speculated but the evidence is overwhelming, wrote it because he was infatuated with a 12 year old girl. The entire story and all its whimsical details, as famous as they all are, including Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, are so imaginative to curry the favor of this child, who he apparently was in love with.Disturbing to say the least and has all the undertones of Michael Jackson's behavior.I can't change history but the story became off-putting once I found that out.Cowboys ML

hahaha,god-damn scalabrine...your knowledge is so wide and varied it knows no bounds,i definitely learned something new, thats kinda creepy about carroll (no wonder youre betting against his descendent here,hehe).....holy shit,im actually old enough to remember beanie and cecil,R.A.G.G-M.O.P.P,ragg-mopp!!!..amiright??....hmmm,im not so sure what to believe about jackson,i reckon he was intentionally demonised and it was never definitively proven what actually went down, someone wanted to squash him and end his career as he wouldnt tow the part line.....but i digress.

so youre not surprised at all that the propellers on tweedles-dee and dum are actually flags now?i know i was,it just looks so wrong...if a book were to set a line on what was on their hats at -300 for propellers i bet most people would still jump all over it if you asked them.

Relax guys, there are two sides to this play... winning or losing this bet wont prove that one person is better than the other.

Its the playoffs, less games to be played, lots of ppl will be on one side and guess what? lost will probably be on the other side. At the end of this game lets just move on to the next one.

You can’t cap games like this folks. QB’s head coaches are a STARTING point. The nuances (psychological angles being an example) reign supreme. To the man who studies those nuances, god’s the capping spoils.

As you've shown time and again it's a holistic process. I don't get people ripping you, or anyone for that matter, about getting picks wrong. The very exercise of trying to decipher what is going on behind closed locker room doors and the minds of those running/motivating those inside those locker rooms is incredibly difficult.

The time, thought, and generosity involved in sharing these picks is a blessing unto those who get to read it. The only thing we, the readers, paid for is the internet connection and maybe the device we're reading it on (Libraries may disallow Covers.com though. Haha).

Thanks again, Scal. I'm on DAL ML with you and that's as a Giants fan.

    Thanks for all you do.

I was going to say, there's a reason why your writeups get double digit page counts and 5 digit views.

This is the game Dabo wanted when moving away from Bryant in favor of Lawrence...should be a classic

Brotha.....I’ve been meaning this way as well. Last year Tua came in and surprised many. Lawrence could be the second true freshman to win a title so when some say he could be in over his head....not so sure. I’m not sure about the ML but for so many to think Clemson doesn’t have a shot.....they will be ready. The first quarter will be huge. Clemson will need to stay close or get out to an early because if nlt, they will most likely get rolled. Dabo knows this. I love Clemson d coordinator Venable as well.

It’s a trust factor and Dallas will mess this up somehow.  The coach is a joke.  Good luck Scal just not this game.

Did you watch the Patriots/Seahawks Super Bowl? The last play from Seattle at the goalline? It’s crazy how sooooo many forget the worst play call in Super Bowl history. The seed to what started the breakup of that great team they had. Lynch, Sherman, Bennett....all gone. Why? Their dislike for Petey Bird. Garrett ain’t much himself either.

It appears that the OP is still underestimating the fact that Russell Wilson is one of the best QBs in NFL History and knows what it takes to win the big one.

    The OP is on TILT.

The fact that you think this site would suffer and the capping quailty would go down if you LEFT is hilarious.

so youre not surprised at all that the propellers on tweedles-dee and dum are actually flags now?i know i was,it just looks so wrong...if a book were to set a line on what was on their hats at -300 for propellers i bet most people would still jump all over it if you asked them.

Melos I can assure you, I watched the MJ trial and he sexually abused the accused and untold others.

One of the children who testified actually accurately described a birthmark on MJ’s penis.

Now outside of filming the act itself and submitting it to the court, I can’t think of more damning evidence. This doesn’t even speak to the fact he settled out of court for tens of millions of dollars with the accused.

And a final nail in the coffin, straight from the horse’s mouth about sleeping in a bed with another person’s child. This is insanity!

I dismiss you from the court like a king to a jester.

    Return with something meaningful.

Achilles, excellent point about Carroll’s SB disaster call.

an_eek2an_eek2an_eek2...birthmark....yikes,okay im certainly not as familiar with it as you are then but something just smelled off about the whole thing...not to be totally naive but a person can be in the same bed as a child and nothing eventuates from it....but in the end who knows,of course in those cases its all about who has the biggest stack of money and the best lawyers so being found not guilty doesnt exactly settle it....i'll read up on it later but im still on the fence, with so much money at stake there is clearly motivation to deceive and mis-represent possibly from each/either side.

On FanDuel, Dallas is now -140. Glad I got them at -122 this morning. Save me an extra 36 loot if they lose.
