Helmet to helmet is legal when the player is running with the ball
Hey yo, learn some rules:
using any part of a players helmet (including the top/crown and forehead/hairline parts) or facemask to butt, spear, or ram an opponent violently or unnecessarily; although such violent or unnecessary use of the helmet is impermissible against any opponent, game officials will give special attention in administering this rule to protect those players who are in virtually defenseless postures."

Liberals calling for helmet to helmet....the safety had his head down to make a solid form tackle and pierre thomas squatted down to make that helmet to helmet. Safety wasn't trying to be malicious, no spear = no call

lol ? No no such thing for a Runner he wasnt a defenseless receiver.
You are 100% wrong. The rule is the refs give "special attention" when it involves a defenseless reciever, but regardless it applies in any situation.

What crack are you smoking he already ran with the Ball for some time you can hit with your helmet as log as you want. He wasn't a QB in the pocket or a Defenseless WR.

Has fuck all to do with runners or defenceless receivers - its to do with the fucking rules. You can disagree with what the rules SHOULD BE, but not WHAT THEY ARE.
It was helmet to helmet, it should have been half the distance to the goal and a Saints first down.
