Conner had 55 catches for 497 yards in the regular season...he is a dual threat like Bell.

For atleast next season, would we see Randy Moss 2.0 type #s? You gotta think Brady is already snuggling up to Kraft to make this happen

This would never happen, not in a million years...for many reasons. Belichik and Kraft have too much wisdom...

With Brown's treatment of his head coach and ownership (didn't answer the owner's call), he will be lucky to find a good team at a good price to sign with. Antonio has burned his bridges and his mask has fallen off...most GM's don't want a toxic presence in the locker room.

Interesting stat in Bells last year he only  had 2 runs of plus 20 yards  from scrimmage all year... Conner had at least 9 this year if memory serves right..  It may have been more .. Plus the year Bell missed the first four games of the year due to positive drug test  his replacement ( Williams) ran behind that line and was the leading rusher in the NFL after four games..  If I was a GM that would make me go hmm..  Add in Conners stats and it starts to look like a good line  and QB may have helped Bell look better then he is.. Just a thought.. Hell even Conners replacement has gone off in a few games.. Trend is starting to set in..  an_light

Be careful with the axe Eugene.

Tomlin's lack of discipline has led this team to this point in time. Anyone remember that episode?
Wow , dude I feel sorry for your mother, sister, wife

Yeah, how dare he not rush to hang someone on a false accusation with zero evidence. You're a pathetic piece of shit ,and worse than that, you're probably a democrat. Fuck'n cockroach

If AB is the piece that provides Brady and Belly one more title, they would do it. Let’s not forget that Pippen and Jordan sought out Rodman who we all know wasn’t popular with MJ and Pip. They hated each other. But they did it to win titles and they had the coach who could do just enough to discipline Rodman. Belly would be the guy to keep AB disciplined. AB has all the money he needs and to go to NE, I’d be surprised if he didn’t straighten up. Money isn’t an issue in NE so if they wanted him, I’m sure they could get him. There are actually a lot of similarities imo between the Bulls and Patriots. Reinsdorf and Krause we’re straight edge guys in the front office just like Kraft is to an extent. The Bulls getting Rodman was waaaay out of their comfort zone as would be Ab joining the Pats but it’s not that far fetched. I believe Rodman was paid right around 10 million a year which was a lot considering the risk but it worked. AB, although a risk....imagine him lining up next to Gronk and Edelman with Brady slinging it. I can’t stand the Pats but it sure would be entertaining to watch them.

Well not quite true ..  55 ain't 85 but Conner missed games due to injury and JU JU is taking even more  targets away from Brown.  Browns targets were going to be on the decline in the coming years.. Add the fact he is 30 and its a no brainer his targets would actually  be going down in the future..

Be careful with the axe Eugene.

Okay, let's go back when Bell had 12 starts, just like Conner. Two years ago. He had 75. 75 is still WAY MORE than 55.

I'm seeing a slight decline from AB. 100 catches isn't 130. But, still. You would think they could find a decent #2 wideout. Looks like they finally did. And the Steelers finally got him off of the punt return team. Never understood why you put somebody like your best receiver back there to get killed. But, you gotta put the best one back there, I guess....

Tomlin had no say about Bell.  Thats all on Steelers ownership and their long lasting way of dealing with players under contract.

I'm sure Brown will kiss and make up and they start fresh next season.  Still a very disappointing season with a talented group of players.... Tomlin has to be at fault  for that.

Did Tomlim ever explain his failed fake punt?

In the real world, when an employee fuks up to that level of magnitude, they are usually fired almost immediately....the fact that he still is employed by the Steelers goes to say the problem is far greater than a disgruntled WR diva with a terrible hairdoo

    .

    55 is 75

55/75: Numbers can be spun to support either side, just depends on how they are presented. Conners first year as lead dog with 55. Targets in 12 game seasons are 71/94: Expect same results with similar target share.  I could argue it being Conners first year as lead dog kept overall usage down as well as Bell never had to compete for targets with anyone like Smith Shuster's 2nd year break out.

Bell: less than 12 TD's every year...... Conner 13

Bell career average 4.3 ypc..... Conner 4.5

On and on...... numbers do whatever you want them to do for you.

lancer, confronted with real numbers, I went back to Bell's season, where he had 12 starts. This would be THE SAME NUMBER OF STARTS Conner had, if that's okay with you. And for a guy that missed 5 games to an injury, how he got into 13 is an accounting mystery perhaps only you can solve...

You can argue use rate, or point out "career" average of a guy that's only started one season all you want.

    The facts are these:

    Antonio Brown is an idiot.

    Le'Veon Bell is an idiot.

And YOU stand out less in a crowd...

Good Day. You may step down...

Yeah F him, selfish POS. Porter gone, Danny Smith needs to go next, worst ST's in the NFL, not helped by the Steelers keeping Jordan Berry (P)  around yet again for no good reason.

Shame Tomlin isn't held acountable the "Thousand yard stare a** hat" that he is.

Tomlin never did explain fake punt but Foster (OL) did..  He said they saw on film  that the Saints had  a gap in the middle  of the line that was huge when rushing the punter due to stunts.. They practiced that fake play all week keeping it in their pocket.  They felt it was an ace in the hole.. According to Foster it was ... But a blocker (  Dirty Red from Temple)..  had a complete whiff on his guy the only player who  had a chance to stop the runner ..  Dirty Red told Tomlin on  the sidelines he was sorry because if he had put any block at all on his guy the play would  have easily worked.. Idea was great but the block was horrid..

RIP MR BIG CHEST..  Your time is near..  Thanks for all the good times but you have worn out your welcome and usefulness as a player here and more important you have put yourself above a team that gave you a shot to play with a HOF QB and make you millions.. You had a part in that but it was FAR from all your doing..  GL in the future have a feeling you will need it.. IMO your better days are past you.. Ask Mike Wallace about that..  peace_5....  RIP MR BIG CHEST...

At least Josh Gordon is a drug addict.

    Antonio Brown is legitimately retarded.

Dude would be slinging rocks on some streetcorner if not for the NFL. Facts.

He will be broke within a few years of retiring.
