Pouncey wasn't in there for their first matchup either.  His play and leadership might be big for the Phins.

Very good point. Not one player from Miami's Oline would start on the team this year. Which is why I say Tannehills numbers mean nothing last year vs the bills

gl bro.  u been spot on the fins all year...

i am 3-1 betting on or against them myself..   chiefs +3.5, packers -2.5 and Dolphins -2.5 over the chargers were my wins... sadly my only loss was fins-1 in buffalo week two... i bet with my heart and not my head that game... thinking the pats win actually meant something...

tonight going with my head and not my heart... down Colledge and Albert and they can't even block this team to begin with.. Players hate Lazor and he rarely stays commited enough to the run..

Same old shitt fins... hope i am wrong in one sense but no playoffs this year after tonight loss in my opinion.

Bills +4 and ML at +175 for me

Im getting Mike Wallace +7.5 rec yards against Sammy -114... love that... they may try and force feed Sammy but like you said hes not 100% and I trust Grimes shuts him down.

@Collegegambler: much respect for being able to put emotions aside and bet with your head. Very few can do that. Including me.

@feedmecappers: Really like that bet. I can see Watkins with more catches, but Wallace more yards. my best guess is Wallace 5/75, Watkins: 7 for 70

4 hours to kickoff and my stomach is in my throat

Earthwake love reading your insight on the dolphins.

How do you feel about the line movement seeing -4 now?

The line makes more sense at -4 than it did at -6 on some sites.

I could justify to myself laying -4. It absolutely no more. I'm still staying off the spread though. That's just me.

For all intents and purposes this is basically a playoff game. The loser of this game is in serious trouble, and will have a huge mountain to climb if they lose. I know for a fact the Dolphins are the better and more dangerous team, but struggle against the Bills.

I don't have as much time as I'd like so I'll make this quick. I have no idea what is going to happen in this game, and neither do you. Miami could come out and win by 30, or lose. The game could end 13-10, or 24-23. No matter what bet you make tonight, it could easily lose. The biggest advantage goes to the Dolphins defense. Without Jackson and Watkins 100% who is going to make plays? I would be very surprised if the Bills score 17 points.

I'm worried about Dolphins O-line, but like I said even without Albert it is 5X better than it was last year. As long as the O-line doesn't get completely manhandled, I think the Dolphins win. The Dolphins are more talented team, and should win...but until they play a solid game against the Bills, I am not sold. I need to see to believe it.

Keep an eye on the first 2 series for the Dolphins offense. If they have success they will most likely win, if they can't block they will most likely lose. I can tell right away what kind of offense Miami will have for the day right away, and so should you. If Tannehill is on point with his passes, tear up your Bills ticket. I'm surprised so many people are on the Bills. Dolphins could easily show up and dominate like they did vs the Chargers.

Also, if you don't know anything about the Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry you will learn quick. He is a BEAST and will be for years to come. He is a hair away from breaking a kick/punt every game. I think tonight is the night. He literally runs up and catches a punt as good as I've ever seen, which gives Miami great field position.

Bottom line: Dolphins only lose if they don't block and beat themselves. Their o-line is better than you think, even without Albert.

    prediction: 24-12, Dolphins

    Buffalo Bills under 18 : 5u to win 4.7
    Buffalo Bills under 14.5 (+179): 2u to win 3.6
    Buffalo Bills under 13 (+334): 1.5u to win 5
    Defense/special teams TD(+160): 1.5u to win 2.4

If the Dolphins lose I won't be back for a few days. This game is huge, and a loss would be killer. You will find out who the Dolphins are one way or another tonight. I believe you will see a team closer to the SD game. gl, go fins

Dolphins could easily show up and dominate like they did vs the Chargers.

great work bro.  big win by the fish... i feel like an idiot betting against my team LARGE when they actually come through haha...  Maybe this year will be different...  im  3-2 now betting on or against the fins and still up a good amount of money in those games... 2.5K on the chiefs +3.5 week three..   But nothing like u, your dominating Dolphin games...

This team would be 8-2 and the number one seed in the afc with either a first down or a stop in either the packers or lions games

Maybe there is hope that this team is different and they might actually make the playoffs and god forbid win a game in the playoffs for the first time since lamar smith's 209 yard 23-17 OT win at home vs the Colts in the wildcard round in 2000

nice calls on the team totals.  people are really underestimating this team.  this is such a fantasy filled league and they don't have anyone that dominates from a fantasy standpoint.  all they do is get after the qb and lock up your wr's... ground game looked good from the stat sheet and if that can keep up im confident that tannehill and this receiving group can get it done.

@Collegegambler: It looked like Miami was going to lose for the first 40 minutes. I'm really trying not to think about the what-ifs. They have some big games ahead of them that can make those what-ifs insignificant. Looking forward to next week. Ahh yes, the Lamar Smith game is still hands down my favorite all time sports game. (Slightly ahead of Sixers/Lakers game 1 of NBA Finals. Use to be huuge Iverson fan, I'm from Philly) I remember like it was yesterday. I also remember the next week in Oakland to go to AFC championship game. Drive down to 5 yard line to start the game, Fiedler throws pick six and Fins lose 27-0

@feedmecappers: Yes Miami is not really flashy at all. When they have Finnegan in I would say they are a top 5 secondary. Add to that a top 3 D-line and easy to see why their defense is so good. I literally fell to me knees when Delmas dropped that easy pick six. He would still be running. I thought Miller had a great game and DT always runs hard with his 2-3 carries. I said prior to this week Damien Williams has all the makings of a star. Really hope they get him more involved.

Big shocker that the Bills player with the best game was Chris Hogan. Who happened to be covering Hogan all night? You guessed it. THE Jimmy Wilson... Really looking forward to next week At Denver. I think it will be a high scoring game. Dolphins just faced 2 of NFLs best defense so facing Denver should be alittle easier. Manning will CARVE up Taylor, and Wilson. They need Finnegan back bad. If he is in, it has the makings of a tight game.

yep i remember the fiedler pick six.  the team was dead after that...   Gadsen had a sick one handed catch late in the third quarter not like it mattered in the 27-0 drubbing.. but still one of his famous catches

     Dolphins!

First of all....congrats on the wagers brutha

Secondly...Glad that the Fins won as I would hate for you to lay off this site had the Dolphins loss

The game was on here at 3:30pm Hawaii time. Hated that I had to go back and forth checking on the game during work especially when the Dolphins were down 6-3 at the time. Made it home in time to catch the last quarter with the family which was actually the best part lol.

Next up is Denver and I wouldn't be as disgusted losing to the Broncos as oppose to the Bills, Pats, or Jets....But I surely hope the Dolphins pulls out the victory.

    Congrats again

Thanks man. Yeah they are free rolling next week. They either lose like they are suppose to or shock the world into respecting them. A win next week would be amazing.

My semi apology to jimmy Wilson. After rewatching the game, Hogan only caught 5 of his 7 passes on Wilson. The other 2 were a zone coverage. Still too much though IMO. No idea who he will be covering next week. Who is the broncos number 3, Wes welker? Man if finnegan doesn't play than Sanders and welker will be going off, most likely. I think finnegan is suppose to play though.

Rams beat the Broncos! I think personally the Dolphins are in bigger trouble now. Only because I can't see the Broncos having 2 bad games in a row...but that's just me.

Still hoping for a Dolphins victory!

If Finnegan plays, and Julius Thomas and Sanders don't. Miami has a really good chance to win. If Thomas and Sanders do play, it will take a perfect game to win.

The only teams that ever have a chance against Manning are those that can get pressure, and have decent secondaries. Miami fits both of those. I already have the Dolphins +7.5..I will be waiting for the injury situation to sort it self out before I do anything else though.

I agree with what you are saying brutha but the advantage the Rams had was that Thomas and Sanders got injured during the game and that took the Broncos offense for a curve. With the Broncos having more time to prepare to play with or without them I feel that it will be a different story.

Here is what I think needs to happen for the Dolphins to pull this one out...

    1) Dolphins defense needs to be able to put constant pressure on Manning. As seen by the Rams defense. Once Manning had to leave the pocket sacks, bad passes and turnovers occurred. I highly doubt that there hasn't been a defensive scheme that Manning hasn't seen but Coyle needs to dig deep and find the ones that will be successful against Manning.

    2) The Dolphins offense needs to keep Manning off the field. In order to do that the run game needs to be successful to run time off the clock. 3 and outs will not be acceptable. Lazor needs to dig deep in his playbook as well. Whether it be a wildcat, wild dog, wild donkey play find something to keep that Broncos defense on its heels.

    3) If 1 & 2  fails well the Dolphins better hope that they can go score for score with the Broncos. And I certainly hope it will not be  field goals versus Broncos touchdowns.

    4) Special teams. Besides fumbling the ball Landry has been great in the return game. The Dolphins will need big returns from him to provide the Dolphins with great field position. I'm not sure what has been happening to the Dolphins pro bowl punter Brandon Fields lately but he needs to get back on track and pin the Broncos deep with every opportunity he has.

    5) win the turnover battle.

Of course what I just mentioned above will bring any team success. I'm just hoping the Dolphins will be the successful one in this matchup.

Sorry just trying to keep it real brutha...only to soften the blow if the Dolphins were to lose this game. But if the Dolphins were to win...Hallelujah! thank you Jesus! +

@bigdaddy: I agree with everything you say except that the Broncos really only struggled because Sanders and Thomas were injured in the game. Julius Thomas is a freak of an athlete and there were a bunch of throws manning made in the 2nd half to Tamme that I know Thomas would have made a play on. There is a big difference between Thomas and Tamme. We all know how much the Manning brothers love their tight ends. I fully suspect Reshad Jones will keep him in check as it's almost certainty Thomas won't play. Sanders has much more of a chance to play which sucks, and it looks like finnegan won't. I'm starting to have alittle faith Jamar Taylor. The main key to winning this game is getting pressure on Manning and Dolphins 3rd down defense. Landry is so close to breaking one, sooner or later he is going to the house. If the broncos were fully healthy I'd give Dolphins about 30-33% chance to win. Without Thomas, I'll give the Fins a 38-41% chance.

@qmich: Not really looking for a stalker. No need to take out your Lions frustration on me. I do feel your pain tho. If the Fins could only score 6 points a game I'd be in a foul mood too. Goodluck with your plays

earth, where do you see miami having success on offense this week?  top ranked run d and good corners, seems like they could really struggle to move the ball.  Just curious what your thoughts are.

If Miami is going to have success on offense, it is going to come down to the offensive line and Tannehill.. Thats the Dolphins in a nutshell. If the Oline blocks they can be dangerous. If they don't block, it's ugly.Denver might have some good corners, but Miami has faced better secondaries this year. Denver is ranked 18th against the pass. Everyone on the team will have to play well to win but this game will rest on the Shoulders of Tannehill. I think Miami will need to run the ball to establish rhythm, but it won't be easy. I'd look for Jarvis Landry to be a big factor. Dolphins also really need Clay to step up and makes some plays.

Also pleasantly surprised to see how high Dolphins defense is ranked. Their total defense and pass defense is near the top. Their run defense is also stellar. Looks like it should be a defensive battle, but I think some points will be put up. Miami has already shut down Brady for a half (without one of best safeties in the league, Reshad Jones) and Rodgers for a half. They definitely have the potential to slow Manning, especially if he is missing weapons.

@qmich: all good man I am a homer to an extent. My comments to you were the day after the Lions game so I was alittle heated. Goodluck w your plays.

Still paying close attention to these injuries. (Handshakes)
