@macweste and feed me cappers: thanks fellas goodluck to you.

I am really surprised this line went to +10 on my site. I would add more except I have them pretty big +17.5 in a teaser so I'm content with my bets. Goodluck to all.

Na, I'm done betting them for the year. +30 units about and I have a bunch of futures pending. I wrote a longgg entry the other day on my phone that got erased as I tried to submit it

Easy to say now but I would have been on Vikings +7 when it first opened. Another wasted year for the Fins. smh

Aslong as one of them is not Ryan Tannehill, the Dolphins have a chance next year.

Coyle has to go, Philbin should too and of course Jimmy Wilson.

I was about to turn the T.V. off once Landry fumbled the ball. Well at least they won.

I'm kind of on the fence with keeping Philbin. I haven't been impressed with his coaching but at the same time the constant change of head coaches for the Dolphins have made the team so unstable.

I think Coyle might go but I don't know.

So many times last year I thought that if Miami only had a good offensive line, they could take the next step out of mediocrity. This is definitely the most I expect out of a Dolphins team since the Ricky Williams era. The last 2+ years have definitely been building to this, and as a team this is a huge year. If they do not make the playoffs this year, Joe Philbin is 100% gone…Again I’ll say, Miami is being completely written off basically. I saw on Profootballtalk ranking they were ranking them like 30th. What an absolute joke. Worst case scenario for this team (barring massive injuries) is 6-10, 7-9...Best case scenario is 11-5, 10-6.…My prediction is 10-6. I really like the team they have and the fact they will be playing a Chip Kelly type offense that really fits this team to a T. Cannot be stressed enough how big of an improvement the offensive line should be. It was just awful last year.

    Quick fantasy notes:

    - I definitely think Lamar Miller puts up more points this year than Moreno and is a good pick later in your draft. Moreno will be used more as a 3rd down and short yardage back. Miller should definitely have around 30-40 receiving yards a game. Definitely think Miller has a solid year, I love his potential.

-Mike Wallace could be a late steal. So many opportunities last year that were not taken advantage of. Should have just as many if not more chances with this new offense.

    - Tannehill. I laughed pretty hard when I saw Manziel was ranked ahead of Tannehill on yahoo fantasy football rankings. A guy who isn’t even the starter going to put up more points than a guy who threw 24 touchdowns last year and should improve this year. Cmmmmmon man. Tannehill will be a solid back-up/spot starter. 30 Tds is definite possibility.

    - Clay. Definitely not a fluke, this guy can play. Was ranked 89th I believe on NFL top 100 players. This guy is a highlight reel who

    ...Still laughing about that.

@bigdaddy: The more I think about it the more I am okay with Philbin coming back. 7-9, then 8-8 and now prolly 9-7. Slow as a turtle progression but still progression. Not to mention they lost Albert and Moreno to injury who were easily 2 of the top 5 most important guys on the offense. Albert might have been #1.

I won't hate if they keep Coyle but they absolutely need to improve the linebackers. Have to. Have to!

Wow, ended up -0.4 units on these. I actually hedged alittle on Clay and Wallace Today. Clay went into the day needing 65 yards and Wallace needed 83. But that was unposted so its whatever. Feel like I got really unlucky on Clay. He was injured all year. He had almost double the yards in the final 4 games as he had the previous 12. Lingering knee issue all year. Should have picked TDs instead of yards for Wallace. Tannehill ones were pretty easy. Was very close to cleaning in these, but like the Dolphins season it was missed opportunities. Such is life.

Odrick, Gibson, Starks, Finnegan, Wilson, Moreno, Hartline, Clay, Wheeler and Ellerbe are the free agents off the top of my head. Most of those guys will be gone but I expect Clay to be back.

Dolphins needs to me. (in order) Better linebackers, offensive guard, cornerback, powerback.

Next year will be the same for the Dolphins. The talent to go 11-5, but could end up 8-8 if they are inconsistent. Props to Tannehill this year. I hyped him a lot this season and even though he didn't play as well as I know he can. 27 TDs 12ints 4k yards and impressive with his legs. Also impressive when you consider Dolphins were in the top of the league in drops costing Tannehill 7 tds ad almost 6000 yards (read that on nfl.com) 12 tds his rookie year, 23 the next year and now 27. I'm sure he will continue to progress.

Tough year. +30 units, up about $1600 but will still feel empty when I think about 2014 being a wasted year. Thanks to all those that contributed

Two redzone turnovers vs Detroit, late INT vs Denver to cost them the game, Crap 2nd halves vs both Packers and Ravens, 0-4 record Weeks 16 & 17 the last two years combinded and only two career 300 yard games is acceptable to you?

Give me any QB in the playoffs plus RG3, Kaep, Eli, Foles, Matt Ryan, Cutler, Rivers and Brees over this crap.

Through the first 50 games of Ryan Tannehill career, he has similar stats to Drew Brees. Same thing with Dalton to Manning. So your going to take Tannehill over Brees and Dalton over Manning? You would if your smoking crack. It's a new NFL. All Dolphin fans see is 4000 yard season!  It's so sickening Dolphins accept this JUNK!  Stop being delusional!  Seriously!

People like you crack me up. Tannehill goes 26-36 for 230, 4 total TDs (1 rushing) and 1 interception that Landry should have caught and you categorize that as an interception that cost them the game vs Denver.

"crap 2nd half vs GB''...Yes, 15-19 for 160 yards 2 TDS 0 ints in the 2nd half vs GB. All Dolphins need to do is stop Rodgers from going 70 yards in 2 min and they win...but blame Tannehill.

Yes, you say you'd take RG3 over Tannehill and I'm the delusional one. There are about 15 above average NFL QBs on the planet right now, the Dolphins have one and you want to get rid of him. Blame Tannehill, not the defense who gave up 39, 28, 41, 35 and 37 in the last 6 weeks.

I've asked you this question before and you have yet to answer. Who should QB for the Dolphins be. What better option right now are there then Tannehill? Absolutely none. Bruce Arians can't stop laughing at you for your thoughts on Ryan Tannehill while he sits there with Logan Thomas as his best option.

I don't criticize people usually for their opinion but you are flat out wrong. You hate Tannehill so you blow off the game where he goes 35-45 for 400 yards and 4 TDs and focus on the negative.Sorry. I cant help myself, I have to make you look like a fool.

"Two redzone turnovers vs Detroit" : WRONG

"INT vs Denver costing Fins the game": WRONG

"Crap 2nd half vs GB and Balt" : WRONG

    " 0-4 last 2 years week 16-17:" WRONG

" TWO career 300 yard games:" WRONG, he has EIGHT

Don't let FACTS get in the way of your blinding hate for Tannehill. shake my damn head.

"Two redzone turnovers vs Detroit" : One in redzone one right near it.

"INT vs Denver costing Fins the game": ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!

"Crap 2nd half vs GB and Balt" : You accept that kind of performance

" 0-4 last 2 years week 16-17:" ?????Go look it up.

" TWO career 300 yard games:" Two this year I meant.

    Cardinals should be QB: Palmer

Dam right I would take RG3.  Way more of a threat!

You love those yardage stats.  4000 far outweights his overall performance to you.

Lets say he doesn't throw that late pick vs Denver:  WIN!

Let's say one less turnover vs Detroit:  WIN!

Let's ask Mike Wallace what he thinks of Ryan Tannehill.  He's willing to QUIT ON HIM!  Are you fing kidding me?  Has anyone ever quit on Manning, Bress, Brady, Rodgers?  Let me step it down a bit.  Has anyone quit on RG3?  Only his dmub hits coach????  Rivers?  That's surprising but that is no.  Luck.  Snowballs chance in hlle that will ever happen.  Not even ROMO!

    You are babbling.

Tannehill went 35-47 for 400 yards and 4 TDs last week vs Minnesota in WEEK 16, so for the 3rd time you are wrong.

Also, the little you know about the Dolphins is fine, but you shouldn't be on here trying to ARGUE your point.

Tannehill does not call the plays and is not allowed to audible, only check out of plays. He can not call the play he wants (which is a mistake on the coaching) Lazor calls the plays and refuses to let Tannehill throw deep to Wallace. You saw what happen vs NE when they went deep it worked a lot. Wallace was frustrated at the coaches because they were not throwing deep after it just worked in New England. He did not quit on Tannehill, he quit on the team and his coaches because he feels they are not using him properly.

4000 yards isn't the only impressive thing about Tannehill man. 27 TDs, only 12 ints. THREE times this year he completed 14 passes in a row and ran for more yards than any other QB. So, if you can read you will see its not all about yards.

Honestly, your opinion is irrelevant. Tannehill will be the QB for the Dolphins for guaranteed the next 3 years and most likely the next 10. Go root for another team if you don't like it

Seriously? RG3, Kaep, Dalton, Cutler??? lol. You will never win with these guys. Put Tannehill in SF or Cincy and I'm pretty sure those teams improve big time.

I mean look at choker Dalton with AJ Green and Sanu and Hill and Bernard in the back end. With those weapons, you sewriously don't think Tannehill brings the Bengals up a notch? I mean he has no weapons in Miami and he still chuked up 27TD's.

As for Wallace, best thing that happened to the Steelers is to let that overpaid "dropsie" sellfish crybaby walk.

I am absolutely not okay with a mediocre season, but Tannehill is not one of Miami's 10 biggest problems. He is part of the solution.

Once you realize how ridiculous you are for blaming Tannehill for losing a 39-36 game because his pass was 2 inches off AND NOT THE DEFENSE FOR ALLOWING 22 4TH QUARTER POINTS.

The difference between us, you're looking for the next Dan Marino while I am looking for a very good NFL QB which is what the Dolphins have

Mediocre life is because of mediocre expectations.

He has one weapon...Stud rook Landry. And keep in mind that Tannehill converted from WR to QB in college.

QB's I'd take ahead of Tannehill looking at age, potential and weapons in Miami:

Luck, Big Ben, Rodgers, Ryan and Russell Wilson. That's it. And I think it's almost a toss up with Ryan.

Tannehill not having weapons is not the issue. Wallace had 10 TDs, Landry is a stud, Hartline is very solid and reliable, Gibson is underated and Rishad Matthews is easily one of the best 6th receiver in the NFL. Also when Clay is healthy he is top 7 TE.

The problem is the injuries on the o-line and him not having enough time.

I agree with everything else you've said though.

It's a little bit early, but what are your initial positions to seek for in the 2015 draft, earthwake ?

    Miami picks 14th.

I have yet to really look at the upcoming players for the draft. Obviously pretty much every team in the NFL could use an upgrade at almost every position, and Miami is no different. However the only BIG NEED for the Dolphins is a playmaking linebacker and offensive line help. The o-line will be solid next year with Albert, Pouncey and James. Those 3 are probowl quality. They could certainly use more skill at the other 2 positions on the line as well as depth incase of injury. I think linebacker is by far their biggest need. Get rid of Wheeler (FA), Ellerbe (FA) and Misi.

If there is a big time linebacker available at 14 Miami will almost certainly take him. If not they will most likely go offensive lines. Their draft will consist mostly of LB, OL, and defensive backs. I would personally love Melvin Gordon though. A great power back that will compliment Miller's speed.
