Sorry fellas don't have much time to talk about this game. It shouldn't matter though, you already have your mind made up that the broncos will win. They probably will, but a Dolphins win would not surprise me. I do not think they will win, but like I said before without Thomas being 100%, the Dolphins chance sits right around 40%. Without Charles Clay who I expected to be a by factor I will drop that to about 36%. To be honest nothing would surprise me. Miami winning this game or turning it over 4 times and losing by 20. Either is possible. Here are a few quick reasons I think Miami can and will keep it close.

Dolphins have just played two of the best defenses in the NFL (Bills, lions) now they have 10 days to prepare for a good defense, but not as good as the two they just faced. Very possible Miami scores 27-31 if they convert in the redzone.

Miami has elite defensive line and a very above average secondary. If there are two things you need to beat Manning, that is it.

I really think it comes down to Miami offensive line, turnovers and pressure on Manning. Pretty cliche stuff but Miami can hang if they don't turn the ball over. I'm treading pretty lightly in this game and am going to just be a fan without a lot riding on it. I really think if the ball bounces the right way they could win this game. Nobody should beat Denver in Denver, but don't count your Bronco chickens before they hatch. Win, lose or draw will be pounding about 5 bets next week vs the Jets. GL to all.

    Prediction: 30-24, Broncos

    Miami dolphins +7.5: 3.2u to win 3
Miami Dolphins ML (+290): 1u to win 2.9

Hey Earthwake, how do you feel the dolphins will fare in the cold weather. Chance of snow as well. I know Peyton is notoriously bad in cold weather, how do you think the dolphins hold up?

Two crushing losses in 3 weeks.

For this team to be 6-5 at this point is about as bad as they could have been given the way they played this year.

Now they have to go 4-1 on a schedule to get to 10 wins with an all but guaranteed split with the Jets, a split between Baltimore and the Pats, and a win over the Vikings.

9 wins is not gonna cut it and in a season that was so bright before will now end with them going home.

The over will hit though (O/U 8 before the season correct?)

Good bet on the side yesterday and the ML for monster profits fails. Same happened to me with the Giants and you are left disappointed while getting paid.

Even expecting the Dolphins to lose it's still a tough loss to take especially when the Dolphins offense played so well and basically had the lead until it counted in the end. I wasn't expecting that bad of a performance from the defense against the run. The only sack registered was when Manning basically gave himself up in the red zone. Peyton had no pressure put upon him at all yesterday and at times the Dolphins defense looked lost.

I'm hoping you continue to get on Jimmy Wilson's case as he was freaking terrible as usual yesterday.

anyway on to the next game Brutha against the Jets. I'm hoping we pull out a victory there.

I also have a couple big futures on Miami.  Boy, it just feels like we'll be talking about how the best team in the NFL not to make this year's playoffs will be these Dolphins.  These crushing losses keep happening.

That 3rd and 20 at the end of the 2nd quarter was so big.

+41.6 units, and would be a lot more if Fins don't blow those 3 big games.

So much to talk about I don't even really know where to start. Dolphins up 28-17 with 2 minutes left in 3rd when Jamar Taylor goes down. He is already the backup CB. The dolphins then put a guy in that I've never heard of, and the broncos score 23 points on their next 3 possessions. If that doesn't happen, well we will never know.

Dolphins offense. Wow. That's the Ryan tannehill I love to see. He was almost perfect except for a tipped pass int. he went toe to toe with a half of famer. Miller was good and props to Daniel Thomas. I always say he never gets enough credit, he always runs hard no matter what. He had a TD and sick 3rd and 1 conversion cutback run. Landry was amazing as well. I'll take him over ODB but both those guys are studs. Everyone on the offense played well.

Dolphins defense. It will now become cool to hate jimmy Wilson. Remember who has been hating him for 2 years. It just goes to show you how few good corners there are in the NFL. The defense just did not show up yesterday and most can be blamed on the run defense. Reshad jones had a bad game in coverage, and grimes had a bad game tackling. Add to that jimmy Wilson terrible game and backup CBs and it's not hard to see why broncos had so much success. It will be funny when the Jets try to run the ball next week though. It won't work. The only reason it worked yesterday was they had to play back with the secondaries and couldn't come up an play the run.

I still will not be giving up this team. They are possibly the 3rd best team in the afc and continue to fight with their backs against the wall. I believe 10 wins will absolutely get u into the playoffs in the afc. A lot of teams are fighting for that spot, but those teams play eachother a lot (cin, cle,Pitt). If the dolphins miss the playoffs it is a shame for the nfl and fans. They are an exciting team. Yes this is the same team ranked 32nd by profootballtalk. As you can tell I'm still pissed about that. I'm just surprised more people did not see what I saw in this team. All the potential in the world, so much talent but they need killer instinct. I really hope Finnegan plays next week, if he does Dolphins win by 20.

@scal: yes I have over 7.5 and 8. All my futures on on page 4 I think. I can't quote them because it will mess up on my phone. I have tannehill over 23,5 TD passes and he has 20 already. That bet was a stone cold layup.

Hey ew thanks for info on dolphins thru yr as has been very helpful.   Just wanted to add this was first time got chance to watch dolphins this yr and was quite impressed.   Thought they were better team and had Denver beat just made some real stupid young team mistakes (that td at end of 1st half was brutal).   I was also quite impressed w tannehill but was hoping to see if he could pull a win out cuz that was the only problem I saw when he was back w A&M.    That ended w the tipped interception.  Will keep looking for yur posts

@liturgy: what kind of futures do you have on the fins? Don't give up on the playoffs. The ravens, chargers, bengals, browns, steelers all have tough games and play eachother. Bengals still play steelers twice and browns once. Chiefs still play steelers, chargers and tough game at Arizona. Don't give up yet and I am 90% sure 10 wins will get them in.

@bigdaddy: tough guy wrenching losses never get easier

@shiek: thanks for the kind words

Must win next week and Miami is 3-0 and arguably 4-0 in must win games. Jets offense will look like JV next week. Need to shake this game off and move onto next week

I'm on the season win total over and also Miami making the playoffs. Nice future on Tannehill TD passes!  He's proving his worth this year, especially when you compare him to some of these other young qbs stinking it up/getting hurt out there.

If you're keeping the faith, I shall also remain confident!

@liturgy: they should definitely hit the over for win total and I got 3/1 they make playoffs so I'm guessing u got similar line. Even with the 6-5 record I definitely think we got +ev on that bet. Yeah that tanny bet was pretty easy. He went from 12 tds to 23 it didn't take rocket science to assume he would continue to progress. Not counting my chickens yet tho

@bigdaddy: happy thanksgiving to you and everyone else.

Already locked the Fins it at -4.5 last night. I'm guessing the line will end -7 by kickoff and maybe even 7.5. We shall see....also on a side note it's good to see jamar Taylor will only miss 2-3 games. He is a good young player but I really feel for the guy. He has had some bad injuries and almost quit football because of them and he finally fought back, and then suffered a bad injury Sunday. Glad he is okay for more reasons than just football. Hope he has a long successful career. Happy thanksgiving

Earth: you were right...line shot up to 7. Finnegan is going to be out though...are you still gonna hit it big?

Trying to find a last leg for my teaser but my teases push and Miami would be -1.

Odds of Miami covering -1? Thanks buddy

Miami's secondary won't be in nearly as much trouble as last week. Even if Finnegan does not play. I wouldn't rule him out just yet. The dolphins brought back 2 players who were on their team before and who I trust a lot more than Powell ( he was the guy I never heard of who was just cut.) The jets don't have the qb or the receivers to exploit any secondary matchups. They might make a few more catches on Aiken/Stanford/don jones than they would on Finnegan, but not a substantial amount.

The chances the Dolphins win this game are over 75%. I'll be back with my final plays soon but like I said I already locked in at -4.5. This game has blowout written all over it though.

Juuuuuice. Haha Jarvis Landry. Dude is an absolute beast and will only get better. He is making Mike Wallace expendable and I think Wallace will be gone after this year. Landry is the real deal.

(Miami Dolphins -7, 41.5 at NY Jets)

The dolphins have not lost a game this year to a team who has less than 7 wins. The only two real bad teams the Dolphins played this year were the Jags and Raiders, and they outscored them by almost 40 points. That doesn't mean they are going to blow out the Jets, but it does show they come to play vs bad teams. They have also responded well the last two times they have lost. Now its a division game against a rival on MNF to stay in the playoff hunt. All signs point to the Dolphins showing up.

The Dolphins offense has looked spectacular in the last 6 quarters. Tannehill has 6 TDs in those 6 quarters with 1 interception. I really like the balance and rhythm of their offense. They tried to work Lamichael James in on a few plays last week which didn't work. I hope they stick with Miller, Thomas and Williams. Haven't heard anything of an injury for Miller so I expect him to get most carries. Possibly his most carries of the season. Clay is probably out but I think the Dolphins have too many playmakers for the Jets to cover on the outside. Unless the O-line has a horrible game, the Dolphins should score 20 + points easily.

The run defense played terrible last week. That was as bad as they could absolutely play. A lot of that was playing the defense to stop Manning and the Denver O-line killing it. Thats no excuse, but Geno Smith is not Peyton Manning. I think after facing an elite offense firing on all cylinders last week, the Jets offense will be easy to contain. Before that Broncos game, Miami's defense allowed 54 points in the previous 5 games. Dolphins week link on defense is their 2nd corner. They will be starting a guy who either never plays or was brought back this week on Waivers. If Geno Smith exploits this matchup, the Jets could keep it close, but he will definitely need a few deep 50/50 balls to go his way. I'll take my chance.

Overall I see a Dolphins blowout. I know the Jets could play a solid game and keep it close by forcing some turnovers and stealing it late, but thats asking a lot. The Dolphins are clearly a level above the Jets, and should take care of business against an anemic offense. The only blowout I said all year was against Jacksonville, and that was 27-6 in the 4th quarter. The offense did play bad that game though. I really think the Dolphins come out strong and win this game by a wide margin. I knew the line was going to go up so I grabbed it at 4.5. I still like it at 7, but obviously there is a huge difference in those numbers. I would still hit it relatively hard at 7.

    prediction: 34-13, Dolphins

    YTD Fins games: +41.6u

last 8 weeks: 18-5, +47.4u (everything besides player props)

    Miami Dolphins - 4.5: 10u to win 8.7
Miami Dolphins TT over 24.5: 5u to win 4.7
NYJ TT under 17.5: 3.7u to win 3.5

    Thanks for the analysis, Earth.

Would you say Miami -1 in a teaser is a 75% likelihood of hitting? Or were you referring to ATS?

    Thanks again in advance

I'm actually surprised seeing all the Jets support, but I guess that's a good sign.

Is this your largest bet on Miami this year? From first glance it looks like it.

Also, college gambler is a respectable gambler this year and is doing quite well and he mentioned Phins meltdown from Denver may carry on. Thoughts buddy?

Yes this is my biggest bet on the Dolphin, and only my 2nd 10 unit play. I had a 10 unit play on Dolphins ML when they played Oakland. It's really are to put a percentage on how I feel, but I feel very confident that Miami Wins this game.

Well the dolphins didn't have a letdown after they lost a heartbreaker in the final seconds to GB or Det. I don't really know why they would have a let down. They already beat the pats and almost beat the best team in the nfl on the road. I think there is much more a chance that gives them momentum and confidence. This team has not played flat all year. I fully don't expect them to be flat or have a letdown on their biggest game of the year. If they lose it will be turnover based I think.

    Fadeonly and Train

I am really pissed at myself for grabbing the Fins at over 24.5 when it has now dropped to 24, but thats life.

I'm adding a few player props. Even though I have been screwed pretty bad in this department. I lost 6 units betting on Tannehill vs the Chiefs, which ended up being a week before arguably his best game of his career (vs oakland.) I also lost 3 units on Alshon Jeffries against the Dolphins when he caught the 1st two passes of the game. I feel there is too much value in them to pass up.

Lamar Miller over 59.5 rushing yards (-115): 1.5u to win 1.2
Jarvis Landry over 5 catches (even) 1.5u to win 1.5
Jarvis Landry over 50 yards (-115): 1.5 to win 1.2
Jarvis Landry to score a touchdown (+125): 1u to win 1.2

Time to get hammered and hope the Dolphins just don't implode because thats the only way the Jets win. You should be able to tell after each team has 1 drive what kind of game it will be (if you like to live bet.) If Fins start strong, it will end up a romp. goodluck
