    My two cents:
    Ravens-PItt, Under, Full Unit
    Ravens ATS, Half Unit

In case you haven't gathered from my previous posts, I'm agnostic about the fixing idea. I don't think any game can be 100% fixed - there is inescapable randomness when 350 lb bodies are moving so fast. I also wouldn't bet than any game is 100% clean. So I'm basing these picks on simple trends.

I agree with your assessment of the fixing of games not being 100% either way.  Don't think Gary Kubiak is working so hard as to suffer a "mini-stroke"  and all coaches and QB's are watching hours and hours of film if they have any inkling whatsoever that outcomes are somehow pre-determined.

But I do think the League via the refs. or other ways can influence certain outcomes if they chose to.

I gotta say I am leaning Pitts. +3 and under right now, btw.

exactly how many had strokes in the past 20 years. not many and not as many as your avg hard working everyday dad trying to pay the bills. I dont see the high ratio of strokes in the nfl due to work ethics vs avg joe.

does anyone remember the guy who died training for the big show in the wwf wrestling? I think its safe to say wrestling is fake yet they do practice long hours to get it right. it has to look good or no one buys it.

you cant fake a grand slam in bball, a 60 yard field goal thats good or a one handed catch for a td with no time on the clock but theres sure many ways to make it look like you tried when you lose.

    Phixer,
How often would you say the game is fixed for the favorite and the side that has most money on to win.  For example, yesterday's MNF SF@WSH.  Most wagers were on SF moneyline and point spread, they were also the favorite yet vegas let them win. How often would you say vegas lets the favorite and "public" money win?

I think yesterdays game was their way of showing nothing is fixed. the game played out and the line was off by a mile and it shows when the fix isnt in no body can constantly predict games within 1 point all the time if its not set up.

Yeah... Theoretically, if most of the games were fixed, they'd have to have a few where the public cleans up... They know that most degens are gonna put that money right back into wagering anyways.

I dunno though. It's hard to say how deep the conspiracy runs.

It's easy to tell that the refs try and call the game in a manner that leads to excitement. But whether it goes much deeper than that... It's hard to say.

I also respect this thread, phixer's plays and his point of view.  Thats why I asked him "how often does HE think(as in his own opinion) Vegas lets the public win?" The awnser would be his own opinion and his point of view! Im not trying to ask him when will vegas let the public win.  Im simply trying to ask what his own personal opinion would be.

Fuzzrod: could you please RELAX. Your like an emotional female - your all over the place. One day you try to start a new, "better" thread, the next you disagree with everything, the next you slightly change your mind and give phix some credit, and the next your all over his nuts again arguing whatever side you think he would take.

Just chill out your emotions and viewpoints change every single game and it just makes you look like a fool.

If it bugs you, don't read it. Name calling makes you look at least as ridiculous.

A metaphor isn't exactly "name calling". Honestly Fuzzrod seems like a decent dude to admit possible fault. I just wish more people would realize that a 1 game sample size is not sufficient to prove a theory -even an entire season barely proves a theory.

And it's Miley not myly.  Haha good luck to everyone on turkey day.  Patiently awaiting your picks phixer.

I usually don't like to use history statistics to cap games because teams change every year and each situation is unique but here is some food for thought that caught my eye for Phixer and all those thinking about the games tomorrow

"Thanksgiving favorites (last 9 years): Won 23 of 25 games (20-5 against the spread)"

Hey man, I never said that I thought mostly every game is phixed like Phixer does. The truth is, I gave what phixer wrote a lot of thought and realized that he may be onto something in certain regards. I started seeing a lot of what he wrote come to fruition and then apologized for my insults.

I still don't have a "certain" opinion one way or another. I personally think it's more of the refs working with the league than it is the players involved.... With that said I had a SUBSTANTIAL amount wagered on the Bronco's and that game had me absolutely seeing RED. I was PISSED... So I thought this thread would be a nice place to vent. That game seemed as staged as anything.

But whatever man, sall good. And my bad on the Miley thing. I really don't listen to that kinda music at all.

few words about "phixing": well, for sure the childish approach is the last thing that interested parties act upon when dealing and wheeling. i previously gave my piece of mind about number of ways the results are being "phixed". if you care you can certainly list back and refresh your memories and after that you can either accept it fully, partially or deny it altogether. your or my opinion do not change the facts. and the facts are in front of your eyes on daily bases in sports betting. how you or interpret them is our own business and a matter of experience. one thing is for sure that i never excused or will excuse my losses or triumph after wins based on "phix" theory. i only try to be on the same page as vegas, wise guys or other interested parties in that matter. i don't judge or employ the "phix" theory for saying who are the "bad" guys, "good" guys, "stupid" or "smart". i try to keep the eye on the ball and that's all. now to this week's holiday games.

    dal - oak  over 47  1150$
    det-gb under 49  1150$
    bal -2.5  550$

i might have more before and at the halftimes

happy thanksgiving and happy hannukah to you all
