Maybe you and anyone else who bets on sports should quit betting if you think their fixed.  Why in the hell would you bet on something that is fixed.  Why do any homework why not just guess.  You must be clueless if you bet on games that you think are fixed.  Ridiculous.  Oh, yeah, I will watch it in slow motion and call the guy that let the ball hit him and ask him which NFL person or Vegas God called him to do that.  And of course, don't tell anybody because no body ever has leaked a thing about this fixing stuff.  Hilarious.

everyone always say this but why? if you don't think it's fixed that means anything can happen...if you do think its fixed then you need to figure out who its fixed for...i don't claim it is or is not fixed but if its not fixed you need to evaluate one million factors and if it is you need to evaluate 1

If people think the NFL is fixed, then (a) why aren't they retired and living off their gambling wins or (b) why do they gamble at all?

beause you still have a 50/50 shot of being on the right side so its not like its easy to find the winner and no I dont think every game is fixed and not every player has to be in on it.

it isn't black and white you dont hit 0% or 100%....maybe you were hitting 44% handicapping games to death and then 54% trying to find the fix...just devil's advocate

is the argument just the nfl is fixed or all sports? if the nfl was fixed then it would be pretty simple just bet against the public evertime... but we all know that doesnt work. for example saints were heavy favorites over the cowboys ... saints blew out the cowboys how is that fixed? public won vegas lost

not everything is and where do you get your info? they can lead you where they want you to go if your not careful. they tell you 80% money is on one team when in fact it may be the other way around. I dont claim to have all the answers but you have to admit it happens.

last pats game the refs missed the call in the end zone right, if they make that call and brady scores they lose their behind on the bet. carolina -3 and they win by 4. really all on 1 ref missing a call that was obvious to the world. FIX Carolina -4 winner. they also know small timers like myself win 100 and then lose 200 by outsmarting ourselves on the next bet. the trick is to find the right bet, bet big and lay low until the next good bet but we cant wait and rush to be greedy and just give it right back. you have to be patient and limit your plays but also bet larger on those obvious plays when you see them. may be wrong but thats my take.

Good points. It's not all black and white.

Last night was a highly publicized game and one that a lot of people had "circled on their calender". There was a lot of hype. If it was just a blowout or boring game, people would have been all "well that sucked" and would have been unhappy with their experience watching the game.

I just don't see how a good team like the Broncos after being SO DOMINATE in the first half goes on to play totally different and gives up 31 unanswered points... All of the sudden it was a walk in the park for the Pats and the Broncos defense was useless. And of course then Manning gets ref assisted help to tie it up in a "sensational" manner to lead to a thrilling overtime. Story-book game right?

It just seemed like a crock... The same thing happened with the superbowl.

Why don't we ever just see total blow-out boring games between good teams during a prime-time spot? Sure a team can be evenly matched, but blow-outs still happen. Look at baseball, even the best team/pitcher gets blown out and has their bad game.

How that game played out seemed so obvious and orchestrated. I've been VERY skeptical of the whole fix talk, but I know when I can spot a fraud with my own eyes, and last nights game was a total crock.

At the very least, if it's not completely fixed, The refs are likely ordered to call a game in a manner that makes the game as close and exciting as possible... Which in itself is a total crock and completely takes away from the integrity of the game.

This was an old fashioned blowout. On SNF the public favorite lost, on MNF the public favorite won... I have noticed in years past that a lot of faves cover on Thanksgiving.

I don't have any numbers... only my memory but I remember it being substantial. Just sayin'... IMO the Joe Public sides are due to strike some more.

BRADY AND MANNING WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE RIVALS LIKE YOUR TYPICAL DIVISIONAL RIVALS... THEY ARE RATHER THE CLASSIC FACE OF PRO FOOTBALL...

WHEN YOU SEE A SITUATION LIKE WELKER GOING TO DENVER.. ITS BAD NEWS TO SEE DENVER WIN IN BRADYS HOUSE,, DOES NO GOOD TO THE LEAGUE... PLUS THEY NEEDED TO MAKE UP FOR THAT CAROLINA GAME THEY ROBBED BRADY OF...

BESIDES.. MOST PEOPLE WOULD TAKE THE BETTER TEAM RECORD WISE SINCE IT WAS BASICALLY A PICKEM...

THIS IS WHERE ALL THE STARS ALIGN...
