For whatever it's worth I would still play both these games at the 3 number. But for 10 cents with the local it's worth it to me to buy the hooks.

Weathered.............I am planning to tail you on your Tennessee pick for tonight but have a question. Right now my book has Tennessee at -3.5 (-110) but I can buy down to -3.0 (-125)......should I pay the extra juice to get at 3?

I think it's a much bigger advantage in the pre-season to buy that hook....sometimes it's a - EV play in the regular season but for this game i felt better sitting at - 3 than - 3.5

I took 2 nasty beats in about a 45 minute time frame last night....

1. I went from being up 13 - 0 and getting + 3.5 points late in the game to not winnings or even covering...

2. I had KK cracked by 10 8 offsuit  about 6 places away from the money in an online poker tourney last night...and went on to finish 3 spots out of the money after that crippled my stack....

 

But you know what....I woke up today ready to rumble and try it all again

I Agreed with you Weather that sport betting and Poker have alot in common. I do play 1k hands of poker everday and I know how nasty are those bad beats. In sport also those last secs scores can do the same to you.
If you look at the big picture then in the long run skill will win same with sport betting and Poker.

you ever had a chance to play at sand ridge gc near cle? I played there in a tourn a couple years ago for the NCAA regionals. One of the best courses i have ever played

weathered had two good friends that played , in cleveland, frank minnifield and tim couch, tough town,  had bills , carolina, raiders teased , and out right 3-1, liking atl lots to prove, baltimore with troy lean for now,  saints will win take over also,  gbay pay back for last week, rodgers is good qb,  like jets farve till he pisses me off , 4 home teams 1 over and 1 road team , i always lean home team and overs in pre season

heck yeah man....in Chardon....great track....

I just played Grey Hawk GolF Club today in LaGrange....another great track in Northeast Ohio
