HomePuppies First off when did wagerline picks = amount of money bet at sportsbooks? When you see a line move the way this line moved.....a ton of money is coming in on the game. It is a FACT that a huge % (way more than 55%) of the REAL WORLD ACTION is in Pittsburgh, and has been all week.
2. J.P. Losman is better than Byron Leftwich, thats my opinion. If you disagree thats fine.
3. If you want to talk smack with your 12 posts thats also fine..but I wont respond after this. If you want to discuss the games in a friendly fashion then I'm all ears. Other than that i'm not interested.
Good Luck.
There are two conditions when the public money can offset wiseguy action. First, the event might attract enough squares to bring in the sheer volume of bets necessary to counteract the sharp wagers. This is the case for something like the NFL, which receives broad recreational wagering support, particularly on Monday Night Football and during the playoffs. The "MNF home underdog" angle held up for many years for this very reason.
The other situation where public money can overwhelm the market is when limits are kept low enough to minimize the damage the sharps can do.
** Note, preseason NFL is FAAAAR from a high volume bet situation. The line does not move due to public wagering. Sportsbooks are often looking for 60/40 splits, against what many of you are taught: "always wanting split 50/50 action"
I'm not a sharp, and neither are any of you. We dont move public lines at all - neither does JoePublic who's heavy on the steelers. You can bet or believe whatever you choose. Thats not the point. But to say this is the most plublic friendly bet (Pitt), is wrong. The line moved because a legit QB is now going to get 2nd string snaps over who is now regulated to 4th on their depth chart.

Love the Eagles at home. Andy Reid never gives a crap about pre-season games........he has one of the worst records by percentage of any active coach in that capacity. But......Philly has to find some answers on the outside of the offense and Donavan will play into the second quarter from what I am hearing. I bet they put up 24 or more tonight at home and hit the over. Carolina will play better with the 2nd and third strings though and score more in the second half to push it over the total.
As far as Pitt goes.........they won't risk much time on Ben......because if he gets hurts.......it's Dennis Dixon for the begining of the season and QB. Charlie Batch broke his shoulder last week against Philly. I don't think that Pitt will look to do much on the road in this game after taking Philly down last week 16-10. Look for Buffalo at home to give the fans something to really cheer about tonight.......for a change.....lol
Philly -3.5 & (O) 35.5
Buffalo whatever you can get it at!!!!

homerpicks no problems buddy....it's pre-season and as I said...at + 3.5 their is no expected value with the play....it's a coin flip...in the long run you wont win more money by taking either side....just on the play for some action

PocketJacks weather is hurting that over...but it has cleared up some....just think if not for that fake FG that Carolina picked off for a TD this would be a 3 - 0 game...maybe 3 - 3 if they just kicked that FG
