There have been signs all season long that this year is for the Chiefs.
Don't care about history/trends, Beli/Brady bla bla bla. None of that applies in regards to outliers, The Chiefs this season are an outlier, same as the Broncos in 2013 or Pats in 2007. Seasons like these are unicorns and only come around every now and then.
I mean the Chiefs QB will become the league MVP and Superbowl MVP, all in his first season starting. It will easily be the greatest start to a QBs career ever by far.
Unlike the Pats, the Chiefs are battle tested. Same as the Chargers were and Broncos were as well. The Chargers just couldn't overcome the travelling and fatigue. Not to mention a horribly idiotic defensive game plan against the GOAT. If any team had a shot at stopping KC it was the Chargers. That ship has sailed.

Thanks all. It is true the Chiefs offense is absolutely stacked, but personnel ain't everything. Pats actually could have been up 21-0 at the half if they just ran the ball at the 1 yard line instead of throwing an interception, but in the end despite some crazy plays the correct team that should have won, won. NE 36 first downs to KC 18, 520 total yards to 290, time of possession doubled etc.
I'll say this about the Rams, who I've watched very closely this year. Yes that was the absolutely worst missed call that most likely would have led the Saints to a victory.. But sometimes you need a little luck to win a Superbowl as so many things have to go right.
However and this is important, Todd Gurley's terrible plays early, the lack of hearing the playcalls being sent in to Goff, and a terrible offsides play led the Saints to go up 13-0 in the blink of an eye to start the game, but the team basically did nothing for the rest of the game. The Rams are absolutely STACKED, from personnel, to talent, to coaching, and in all honesty I think the Saints were fortunate to even be in that game late thanks to the 13-0 flurry at the beginning of the game, despite being at home.
The Rams are the best team in the NFL who peaked at the perfect time (unlike the Saints who peaked far too early). The Rams will be one of the toughest opponent's of Brady's career, literally.
As for the bowl, I have a true line on this game being Rams -3, so we will be paying a premium by taking the Pats, but we'll dive into that match-up further later.
