The guy will never play in the NFL again.
He cost the league hundreds of millions of dollars with his kneeling and the loss of fans.
Trust me, although no one else is saying it, the league is so happy he is gone.
He will never play in the NFL again, never.

Kapernick is better then half of these starting qb's in the league right now. He is being blackballed, not because he is a criminal, it's all because he is an activist.

He's an idiot, period.

The dumbest thing that he's done(over the course of all the activist/kneeling crap) that no one talks about, is becoming a vegan.

Lost 30 some pounds of muscle mass. Chicken legged and could never throw out of the pocket. He was a great zone read QB in his hay day, with a stout run game and baller Vic Fangio D.

He is a has been.  If he was still the same qb he was when 49ers went to the sb he would be playing.   49ers would say we support his right to protest.  But he is mediocre and not worth all the bad publicity he would bring as a qb on a losing team.

If he is so unhappy then he should return every cent every gift anything associated with football back.  The cars, houses,trips,jewelry and whatever else that he received from this country.  He wants to disrespect all that gave their lives?  If it weren't for them he would not have any of this or a family.  There are other ways to express yourself but not that way.

Here's been washed up now for almost two and a half years.

I'm sick and tired of people saying the league is racist. They let Ray Lewis back in the league after he murdered someone. They also let Michael Vick back in the league after he tortured and killed dog. All the NFL cares about is money if you have any talent to win games you'll be on a roster.

I agree 100%. If you can win & sell tickets your on a team but this guy can't do either!

Look at his QBR last year compared to other QB's in the league, some stsrters. Look at his TD to Int ratio. This is all on a bad team. Kap's true crime is being silent. If he would have come out and said, "This isn't about "disrespecting troops", it's about creating a dialogue. He wasn't desecrating the flag. He kneeled during the national anthem to create a dialogue that needs to happen. He's just not vocal and charismatic enough to actually create said dialogue.

Look at his QBR from last year. Compare it to some of the other QB's in the league. Look at how bad the team was, offensive line and WR's.

we can put the rg3, kap, russ wilson argument behind us now. russ wilson could murder someone and crash on drugs and still be better than those guys ever will be

Hes a clown, know your role and shut your hole,  he's hired to play football,  he could have done more "activism" on his own time, podcast, bought air time,  whatever.   He was being paid by a team and wanted to use THEIR time to further his own political endeavors.  BIG NO NO, 10 years from now and broke he will look back on a very very stupid decision

Kaep blackballed HIMSELF.  The owners are not blackballing him. You act like the owners got together in some underground cave somewhere and at the meeting decided to collude against him.

I struggle to understand the "blackballing" he isn't that good, if he was he would be on a team.  He has every right to say or do what he wants but like most any jobs it has consequences, why would any NFL team want to employ a back QB who is a distraction?

1) Kapernick had great stats in his last year although he did not win a game, he threw for 16 TD's and only 4 Int ( this is off the top of my head). This is an elite level for an NFL QB.
2) His credentials also include, BEATING OUT A YOUNGER ALEX SMITH  for the starting job on a 49er team that went to the SB
3) Seriously, if you do not think he is an NFL QB please go watch tape of Mark Sanchez, who is still playing in the league. Kap is an NFL QB not a great one but he is an NFL er.
4) The NFL will forgive most anything, this list is endless but the league is full of Pot Smoking, rapists who beat their girlfriends. Kapernicks sins, in the eyes of most, are not that bad.
5) Now my friends, here is my point and here is what matters most. Kapernicks true sin, is that he alienated thousands if not millions of NFL fans. Bubba from Arkansas whose friends died in the wars overseas, was more than a little miffed that Kap took a knee during the Anthem.  Not only was he mad but he was so mad, that he did not watch his team on Sunday, nor did he buy a jersey, s h i t, when his team was on his favorite can of Bud Light, he did switched to Coors and he hates Coors. 
6) You see, this is about money and lots and lots of it. There were many people last year who turned off the game and the NFL because of Kapernick. For the first time in forever, in 2016, TV viewing was down and way down. The owners blame Kap and his squad.
7) So this is not about distraction. This is not about talent. This is not about color, this is about MONEY AND IT ALWAYS IS. The owners lost hundreds of millions of dollars last year because of the Kap and his knee and they will not forget or let it happen ever again.
8) I am not posting this to say that Kap is right or wrong or that the owners are right or wrong but I feel that most people have no idea what is going on. The owners have met and they will not sign Kapernick, and yes, it is punishment for all the money that Kap cost them last year.
9) He is done. Forever, UNLESS, people figure this out and the backlash of the vindictive owners turns people off more than the Kap taking a knee (and I seriously doubt that will ever happen)
10) I look for some big story to come out in the next couple of days so that the Kap is quickly forgotten and rides off into the sunset.......

It's funny how the NFL, and fans, will try to blame Kap for ratings being down and not the NFL putting out a subpar product. If you want to entertain the notion that Kap affected the ratings of teams he didn't even play against, that the mighty NFL is that vulnerable, then I may as well entertain the notion that the world is flat. The TV ratings and gate for Kap's own team were down and as a local I can tell you it had nothing to do with him and everything to do with the fans being fed up with the ownership and GM, and the product they put on the field. Kap's stand (or kneel as it were) was not a big story in the Bay Area. The story was a spoiled brat kid for an owner and his unqualified buddy of a GM who collectively were inept at running a team.

Kaepernick is 4 years younger than Alex Smith.  Did you mean that Smith was younger at the time?

Baltimore was considering signing him......The owner reached out to Ray Lewis who is very popular in the community to get his take on how the community will react to Kaps possible signing ....This is the same owner who hired Ozzie Newsome as their GM who is african american.......Then Kap tweets a picture of the Ravens owner portraying him as a slave master and of Ray Lewis portraying him as a slave hugging his master....Yeah really.

Now Miami is considering him......Oh yeah but wait....Kap wore a Fidel Castro T-shirt the last time he was in Miami where a large portion of community are Cuban exiles or families of Cuban exiles.......Castro was a murderous dictator from Cuba and obviously a much hated man in Miami.....Yet Kap wore this shirt IN MIAMI 

AND PEOPLE WONDER WHY HE CANT GET A JOB....REALLY???

And nevermind all of the protesting, loss of ticket sales, drop of TV ratings and viewership  and potential boycotts  of any team that chooses to sign him will have to deal with.....

I just dont get why people think it would be an overall good move to sign him.
