Just got Back from the Colts game....

I received an update from CBS sportsline before the 1pm games for my fantasy team (started Manning and Wayne despite the risk) that the Colts had signed a 3rd QB off of their practice squad for the game yesterday.  This was a strong indication that they were thinking about pulling Manning and co. at some point.

I, however, assumed that this would only be the case if the game was not competitive.  15-10 against a good defense was still very competitive.  

Agreed with everyone else on here that it cheats the fans.  However, there is nothing "fishy" or "shady" about it.  Please. 

Agreed also that this is an all-in move for the Colts.  Anything short of a SB win now and they will get blasted for this shit forever.

So many things about this annoy me, the idiot commenators like Dungy that say the Colts didnt owe anyone anything,well hell why show up to the game then.

Lol! Dungy had no answer for him thats why he sounded so clueless.

Re: the San Diego game , Freeney was on IR and Mathis hobbled , no pass rush all day . And Tony " Milktoast " Dungy was still there with his bullcrap special teams coach he was " too loyal " to fire , so the Bolts were setting up shop with great field position all day . I doubt any of that happens this year , and hopefully the Colts will get another crack at the Bolts with revenge on their minds . BTW I put $125 on the Colts for the title at 15-1 week 1 of the season .

So many relevent points made in this thread. Awesome job! All I will say is I HATE the Colts. Being a die hard DEN fan, I'm sure you understand why. Having said that, I was rooting for the Colts to go all the way to perfection, immortality, etc. That stunt just brought me back to square one, of hating the Colts, at the very least their brass.

Last home game of the year, you'd think they'd want to send the home crowd out with something to cheer and on a happy note. With perfection on the line and all those hard fought victories inching closer to the dream season, they pull a stunt like this. Unbelievable.

The decision to take players out in a close game was bullshit. As others have said, you ALWAYS play to win and it's not like Manning has ever been an injury prone player. I didn't have any money on the game and I neither like nor dislike Manning or the Colts but I will say this much ... I would laugh my ass off if Peyton gets sacked and blows out his knee on the very first snap of the Colts' first playoff game. Now THAT would be karma.

Nobody would give a damn if they didn't have money on the game.
