I do not agree with this thread but one must not compare the Jags beating Pitt to NE Crushing Pitt as evidence of what may transpire if the Jags face the Patriots.
The Jags strength on D is their run defence which is a non-issue against the Pats because the Pats do not/can not run the football. The Jags must play an almost perfect game as well as completely control the clock to beat the Patriots. It can happen but probably will not.
I on the other hand hope that Patriots win and the Colts win in order to see a real game for the ages. The Colts played an inspired three quarters and had the Patriots to the brink long before second rate teams snuck up on the Patriots i.e. Ravens, Eagles, and to a lesser extent Giants. The Colts did it without their second/third best player in Marvin Harrison and held Brady in check until Brady "blindly threw it up hoping Moss would catch it in Double Coverage" which he did.
I think Patriot fans are most concerned about that matchup because the Colts are the only team in the NFL that does not have to play a perfect game to beat them.... Also, what do you think the line would be in that matchup?
