34 payton place...while you are spouting stats, pull your head down out of the blue yonder and tell me when did any of those other 3 vaunted offenses outscore their opponents by 329 freaking points while amassing a scoring defense of 15 ppg............that's what I thought...none!
I love the JAX team but they will lose this game by 17-21 points. I left my reasoning in my thread. I'd also like to add that JAX cannot blitz to save their life,Brady will be able to fly with his nite instruments and and will need very little running game per usual.Brady will exploit their very slow ,incapable-of-playing man defense.
If Pitt could come back by 15 and 18 pts. respectively in both meetings vs, the boys from N.FL ,you have to ask yourself what will the Pats do to them.BB has 2 weeks to prepare and this is what these guys love to play for..savvy veterans who know exactly what playoff football requires and boy,are they built for it. Meanwhile,Garrard is the epitome of his whole club...just happy to be there. We know what happens to these kind of clubs when thy run into the home den of the rested lion off a bye on divisonal Saturday/Sunday.
To top it off,Spicer has opened his mouth about Spygate in the most ridiculous matter unless he was misquoted which I highly doubt. His timing is utterly ridiculous and underscores what will happen this Saturday nite. He really should be practicing and leaving the media limelight to those better suited.

Don't want to get in any argument with you....But the facts are the facts and this team is old and started showing it late in the season on defense....The last 6 games the patriots averaged 29pts on offense and 20pts on defense......Against a backup QB a.j.feeley scored 28pts against the pats and it was tom brady who had to bail them out.......Then there was backup QB kyle bollier who had the patriots beat up until :12sec left in the game and tom brady saved there ass again that was KYLE"fucking"BOLLIER.......Then the final game of the year i hear all these posters saying how god awful eli manning was and not only did they put up 35pts but they were up 12pts with about 17 minutes left and again tom brady had too save there ass........Now do you believe that tom brady can keep pulling his defense's ass out of the water 3 more times................I honestly don't think he can but it's sure as hell going to be fun to watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

34...I just had to chime in to adress the argument you had left with what I still feel were very solid points on my end.But I agree,it will be fun to watch .But outside of NE's run game being weak which they don't lean on and the linebacking corps being older and soft in run stop, they will still beat up Jax this weekend IMHO but it will be fun to watch. I wish you well.

The fantasy comment was a joke.
I never argued that Defense wins championships. The more I read what you right, the more I think you are under the age of 21. I simply stated that I RATHER see a high scoring game (as a fan) than a grind-it 9-7 game.
AND, you know what the funny thing is......???
THE PATRIOTS HAVE A GREAT OFFENSE AND A GREAT DEFENSE.

I love how when i say or write something you guys are all assuming that i'm trying too argue.........And in reality i'm just pointing things out now you guys don't have to listen or agree with anything i have to say your not hurting my feelings in the least....
As for my age i really don't know why it matters so much to you but if for whatever reason it makes you feel better well i'm 46!!
Now how about another comparsion since you brought up that the patriots had such a great defense......Lets look at indy compared to the patriots!! Ok this year teams that have scored 24 or more points...
Indy- patriots 24...jags 25 = 2
new england- dallas 27...miami 28...eagles 28....ravens 24....giants 35.....= 5
27 or more points indy = 0 new england = 4
Now the combined record of the teams they faced this year.....
indy = 132 wins new england = 120 wins
so the colts not only played a tougher schedule but that's a 12 win difference so it's like the colts playing and extra playoff compared to new england....
And the game that i can't forget the one were tom brady had to save his defense's ass with a touchdown with :12 seconds remaining to beat the ravens 27-24 and the ravens QB kyle"fucking"bollier put up 24 points against what people are telling me is a great defense..Hell did the ravens score 24 points against anybody all season they were the most inept offense in the league!!!!
mdaakd.......I will give you one thing patriots offense is great=Yes but the defense=No way!!

1)the waether is going to be perfect for the passing game no wind no rain or snow we will see the pats come out 5 wide and throw the ball on a weak secondary who jump routes for int u will see brady use the pump fake
2 the best thing the jags do is run the ball and stop the run and i see the jags trying to get away from the run in the first half and throwning the ball to get some quick points on the board and then turn to the run in the second half if they have a lead which wont happen
we also saw pitt come back really quick on the jags mostly because we saw there d line get really tired there best d line men is out marcus strout and the next best jon henderson is hurt i am sure he will play but to what level and we all know controlling the line on running plays is allot easeir than running up hill to try to sack brady against a great o line
we also talk about how great jags d is but the old pats d is much better
i know the stats are all over the place but the pats gave up less rushing yards per game the the jags and are the 4 best d in the the playoff and in the nfl and the jags arent even in the top ten in the nfl
last the pat s had 2 weeks off they have a great coach better than the jags the d will be well rested no injury the pats roll
how can u see the pats d suck peyton they are 4th in the nfl and they always step it up in the playoff they jags d is not even top ten that tuff d that shut everything down in ur mind they suck
the reason the pat schedule is weak is because the division the pats plays in sucks but there record against playoff teams is
great they beat the g men dallas indy pitt S D clev who tied pitt at 10 -6 put missed the playoff and the redskins
the jags on the other hand beat tenn once S D pitt tampa bay and lost to indy twice
so peyton lets talk facts that matter like the pats won every game they played and played better teams along the way

I hear you bro! But your leaving out alot of things there......
1) The overall defense rankings miss leading don't mean a thing....New england #4, jacksonville #12........Because hell who is #1 on defense that's right pittsburgh who the jags beat twice in there on backyard!!!!!
2) The patriots having 2 weeks to prepare for and opponet now i will give you this one!!!!
3) The jags played 9 teams at .500 or better the patriots played 8 teams..... plus every team in the jags division was .500 or better and no team besides new england was above .500 in there division... so the jags did not have the chance at 6 easy wins like the patriots did......
4) The jags or 5-3 vs playoff teams.....new england is 6-0 vs playoff teams small edge to the pats.......But the jags are 4-1 vs playoff teams on the road also they are the only team ever too defeat pittsburgh twice at home in there building!!!!!!
5) The pats run defense also misleading.......Now i give them credit for being way ahead in games which means the other team has to abandon the run.....But when the game is tight there run defense is awful i mean.....eagles ran for 130+....ravens ran for 170+.....colts ran for 150+.....giants ran for 120+..............So if your right and new england builds a comfortable lead then yes they most likely win the game....But if the game stays tight then we have a chance to see one monster upset because it will be what the jags do best run the football against the pats weakness stopping the run........
6) The overall record of all 16 teams that each team played total record...................Jags 132-124..............patriots 120-136...........So edge to the jags over the course of the whole season the jags played the tougher schedule of the two teams!!!!!!!!!
7) It's going to be one helluva of a game and alot of fun i cannot wait........

The reason why they give up so many points is because they beat the shit outta teams by scoring at will. Teams have no choice but to pass because they are playing from behind. It's almost impossible to set a scoring record and give up say less than 14 per game. Point is that they are undefeated and GREAT teams find the way to win the close ones (even if they are against mediocre teams). No team will blow every team out of the water every week. It's the NFL. Any team can beat any team on any given Sunday... Just not the Patriots this year.

I hope you enjoyed that 8700 while it was in your hands. All I have to say is that if Big Ben and Pittsburgh's mediocre core of wide receivers can put the kind of numbers up that they did in the 2nd half of last week's game, imagine what Brady and Moss are going to the Jag D the entire game.
NE will roll in this one, hoody and his band of assistants are a far better coaching staff than "down by the river" Del Rio and his coaching staff. Hoody will have the recon camera crews dispatched and he'll be inside the helmet of Garrard by the mid point of the 1st quarter.
NE big today!

You are just dumb. Simple as that.
You're the one that posted your plays in another thread that had a) Jax ML, then b) Jax +14.5 (but you went and bought a FULL POINT). You must be really confident in your good ole Jax Jags to win if you are buying the extra point on a double digit spread. Haha. GL Mister
Sorry you don't feel like arguing. Nor do I.
