But is so hard to compare. If you put Tony G. on the Patriot he would put up insane number. Patriot is a throwning team.

As far as true te's go I think Vernon Davis has to be mentioned his offensive production is down but he makes Frank gores job a whole lot easier and is key to their pass blocking

as an eagles fan, i would not even have celek in the top 10, very inconsistent both blocking and receiving

Zonacats I've been told this all season bottom line is I would not trade gronk for anyone on the pats right now except Brady who I already have :)

The heath miller comment lol

Anytime you have to preface a statement with "i'm not being a homer but..." then you should press backspace because you're being a homer.  Its like saying no disrespect but, and insulting someone.  It doesn't make it allowable.  If you were building a team right now, age not included, would that dude really take Heath Miller as his TE?  I'd hope not.  Good blocking is good blocking, it can only go to a certain level, and there are several TE's who are marginally within range of Heath's blocking ability.  There are about a dozen better playmakers in the NFL at the TE position.  Give me Gates, Gronk, Witten, Gonzo all without a blink of an eye over Miller.  GTFO with that homer garbage.

As a patriot fan ill say witten is the best overall TE in the league. Grankowski has been a beast so far but he's learned pretty quick due to the help of Belichick and Brady and still has a lot to learn with other aspects of the game besides just catching a pass.

Gron gets a lot of yardage b/c of the spread offense.  I can't say much from his blocking, but

WITTEN is the best TE hands down !!!   The guy has been doing it for years and has always been consistent !! Passing and blocking !!

Ok, Maybe he is tied with Tony G.

Graham is the best TE for scoring production, hands down! But he's really more of a WR than true TE.

Overall package, It'd have to Gronkowski or Witten.... although Tony G will end with a better career #s than all of them
